The elevator car was crowded, the space cramped.
Jiang Die stood near the door. As soon as the elevator door opened, someone behind her exiting pushed her out.

She picked up the velvet gift box and said softly, “Lanlan, I picked out a bracelet for you. See if you like it.”
“I like whatever Auntie gives me.” Meng Yunlan said coquettishly.
Seeing that she had stopped crying, Meng Zhiwei was completely relieved.
Meng Yunlan opened the gift box, her expression exaggeratedly happy. “Auntie, I’ve wanted this bracelet for a long time and couldn’t bear to buy it myself.”
