Having faith isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but you can’t have faith blindly!
Instead of having faith, you’d be better off pursuing faith! Having faith means having gods, Buddhas, and celestial beings in your heart, while pursuing faith means saying you yourself are a god, a Buddha, a celestial being!
The reason ordinary people are ordinary has nothing to do with anything else; it’s purely due to their cultural attributes! Today you’ve seen some words you thought were right and believed in something like celestial beings or pig people, that they created the world.
Tomorrow? Tomorrow someone else comes along who also sounds convincing and creates a leopard-person world for you.
The day after tomorrow? Tortoise people? The day after that, dolphin people? The day after that, Transformer people? They come from the planet Cybertron?
