The Goddess of Justice’s unwavering oath echoed grandly inside the hall: “As long as you do not abandon justice, as long as you do not stray from the path of fairness, I will forever stand by your side as your most loyal assistant!”
“My sword will forever fight for you, severing all injustice and evil; my scales will forever weigh right and wrong for you, measure good and evil, ensuring the justice and balance of the universe!”
A pleased smile filled Zeus’s majestic face. He gently waved his right hand, and a seat of pristine white, radiating sacred radiance, appeared behind him on his right side.
He smiled at Themis and said: “Dear Themis, from now on, I’ll have to trouble you with everything. With you by my side, I will always have peace of mind; with you guarding the universe, it will surely usher in happiness!”
Themis’s solemn and beautiful face was full of resolute expression. She nodded heavily to Zeus, then sheathed her sword with meticulous movements, and promptly sat upright on the divine seat at Zeus’s side.

“You further ensure the legacy of memory and the flourishing development of civilization, serving as the eternal source of all knowledge, history, and artistic inspiration. With your existence, the universe can become ever more splendid and beautiful, continually evolving.”
“I earnestly request: would you be willing to forever stand at my left hand, recording all the rise and fall for me, filling in any oversights, giving me the most precious advice for my rule, making the universe thereby more beautiful and perfect?”
Mnemosyne felt utterly satisfied in her heart.
