Chapter 200: Sky And Night
Although Hecate was still somewhat bewildered, she naturally did not know if her Father God and Mother Goddess had any more important matters, but she obediently followed her Mother Goddess’s words.
She reluctantly hugged Nyx and Zeus again, bowed respectfully, and then transformed into a cool moonlight to return to Aetheron.
As soon as Hecate’s figure disappeared, the dignified and luxurious divine robe on Nyx instantly transformed back into the seductive attire filled with divine body art, making even gods’ blood boil.
The Goddess of Night, like a beautiful snake, once again coiled herself bonelessly into the embrace of her beloved God King.
She clingingly nibbled on her beloved God King’s earlobe with her teeth, speaking with a hint of bone-chilling grievance, “Zeus, my love, I have waited for you to possess me for too long. My love, how I wish, how I wish to merge completely with you.”
“Look, our child is so lovely, so well-behaved. But we only have this one child. And you, you have so, so many children with those other goddesses.”
“I am so envious~ I love children so much~ Shall we also conceive similarly lovely children together, okay?”
“And, to have more than Mnemosyne’s children, okay?”
Zeus’s head was already spinning from the enchantments of the Lady of Night, but upon hearing the Lady of Night’s words, he still blinked in shock, gaining a new understanding of his beloved Night’s “greed.”
Alright! How much effort would it take to conceive so many children with the Night?!
Moreover, the Goddess of Night herself is a primordial great god, one of the four fundamental origins that constitute everything in this universe, her status is exceptionally high.
If he were to have over a dozen children with her, then how could his other beloved goddesses, in the future, have the potent authority to wield for their offspring?
Zeus gently kissed the Goddess of Night’s smooth and lovely cheek, speaking in a slightly ambiguous tone, “My dearest Nyx, my beloved goddess, how could I not want to possess you? Of course, of course, I want to give birth to the most lovely children with you.”
How could these words, clearly a diversion by the God King, escape the Goddess of Night, whose intelligence was currently at its peak?
When it came to children, the Lady of Night was extremely attentive.
Union with the God King and the conception of direct offspring was a significant matter concerning the full integration of the Night lineage into the world.
After all, Hecate was not conceived through the deepest union; essentially, she was a supremely divine being relatively independent and integrated into the world.
Moreover, the Goddess of Night possessed her own pride as a primordial great god.
She absolutely would not allow her children with her beloved God King to be inferior to any other goddess’s children!
Neither in quantity, nor in authority!
She would not allow them to be inferior to other goddesses!
This was a matter of principle!
The Night’s greed was about having it all, and then some.
The Goddess of Night’s slender, jade-white hands, delicate as tender bamboo shoots, began to caress the God King’s hot and firm chest.
Using the new knowledge she had just learned from her love rival, she provocatively teased the God King with a hint of awkwardness, yet with utmost precision.
While acting charmingly and coquettishly, she exhaled fragrant breaths and asked, “Zeus, my God King, my Master, what kind of laws and authorities do you think it would be best for our children to be conceived under? Hmm?”
Before Zeus could speak, she offered her desired answer, “My love, I think our Heavenly Dao Order, although it already has your six beloved children managing it, and they are all extremely great gods, I still feel it is not perfect enough.”
“Moreover, it would be too tiring for them. My dear, I believe we can completely add a few more capable brothers and sisters for them to resolve those complex matters together. This way, our dear Themis can also be spared a lot of trouble.”
Zeus decided it was best to say less and use actions to seal the eloquent lips of the Goddess of Night first.
He unhesitatingly launched his offensive. Nyx, who had originally wanted a definite answer from Zeus, ultimately, under the supremely skilled tactics of the amorous God King and the stormy assault from all sides, soon forgot everything.
Although she didn’t get the answer she wanted from the God King’s mouth, she did get something else from his mouth.
In a daze, she completely immersed herself in the God King’s passionate and fervent emotions, which were like a cosmic storm.
Children were indeed important.
However, fully enjoying the God King’s love was clearly even more important!
As the primordial Master, the Goddess of Night experienced for the first time the sensation of being completely obscured by her own Night.
It was a state of absolute bewilderment and submersion, neither reaching the heavens nor touching the earth, with divinity trapped in the endless void, unseen in all directions and unheard in all directions.
Yet, within this feeling of hazy void, a supreme, powerful, and divinely potent thunderclap, like the separation of heaven and earth, was roaming freely in her world.
With an unparalleled posture, it split open all the inherent, ancient barriers in her divinity, bringing an unprecedented, supreme bliss imbued with supreme radiance.
The Goddess of Night’s divinity became tempestuous amidst the storm stirred up by this supreme thunderclap.
The surging waves formed by love and divine power, one after another, layer upon layer, relentlessly impacted within her divinity.
And at the apex of this extreme impact and fusion, the Goddess of Night’s boneless arms, like amber twilight, finally tightly clasped the hands of Zeus, which shone with brilliant lightning.
The supreme Master of the Heavens and the primordial Night Origin completely and perfectly merged at this moment.
The Eternal God King, who was already nearly absolutely omniscient, after obtaining Darkness, today once again embraced the true “Night” into his arms.
When Zeus was thoroughly implementing the Heavenly Dao Order, having long possessed sentience, he had already completely integrated the authority of Darkness into Hades, who represented gloom, darkness, and shadow.
And today, this ancient “Night” finally truly, and completely, integrated into the material world.
The Sky accepted the Night.
Thus, dark matter and dark energy had all fallen under the control of this God King.
Between the origin and the end of the universe, the ancient silence was utterly shattered by this divine fusion.
The firmament, with the last gasp of twilight, slowly shed its azure hue symbolizing daylight.
This was not submission to darkness, but rather the unfurling of a vast curtain, meticulously woven by myriad bolts of lightning.
In the name of the Sky, it married the eternal Night!
The firmament began to slowly descend, its color no longer the clear azure of daylight, but gradually infused with an ink-jade hue, imbued with the depth of endless stars.
The roar of thunder also shed its intimidation and destruction, transforming into a deep and sacred wedding hymn, achieving perfect resonance with the low hum emitted by the swirling nebulae in the Night.
Gales, accompanied by the deep, primordial breath of the universe, thoroughly entangled the dense dark clouds and the profound Night, with each intertwined in the other, making them inseparable.
Endless lightning bolts transformed into countless radiant golden ropes, flowing with liquid starlight, gently and slowly penetrating the curtain of night with unprecedented tenderness.
Each bolt of lightning, upon entering the darkness, would bloom into a radiant ripple effect like a swirling galaxy, rendering the pure Night into a light pink, luminous canopy embedded with countless stars.
The boundary between daylight and Night completely dissolved at this moment.
Dark clouds became the furnace that harmonized light and dark.
Above it, the eternally brilliant celestial dome; below it, the tranquil mortal world, filled with the fragrance of twilight.
Zeus, the Supreme God King of all thunder, with His golden Sky symbolizing light, order, and spirituality, like a brilliant Milky Way stretching across the universe, poured forth into the endless void of Night.
His every thunderclap shook the foundations of the stars; every bolt of lightning brought new vitality to this eternal Night.
And Nyx, the primordial Creation Mother Goddess of Night, her endless and beginningless curtain of Night, was like the most profound sea of the universe, within which flowed the mysteries of chaos and the origin of all dreams.
Her existence was the cradle of all forms and all possibilities in the universe, an origin power more ancient than any deity.
When this Supreme Lord of Heaven of all spirits and this absolute Origin of Night merged, the universe’s most profound evolution, called “perfection,” began.
Light and shadow would henceforth be eternally twins.
The Sky, with its absolute inclusiveness, accepted the eternal existence of the Night.
Material existence and the existence of dark matter, at this moment, for the first time, truly and perfectly combined.
The firmament and the Night became completely indistinguishable.
Zeus’s thunder became the pulse of the Night; Nyx’s curtain of Night became the fertile ground of the Sky.
From then on, this world would no longer be a simple alternation of day and Night, but rather daylight settling in the embrace of Night; Night extending under the gaze of daylight.
Every rotation of day and Night would carry the mark of evolution; every flash of lightning would shake with tremors of joy.
This was the creative union of the Supreme God King and the primordial Night!
This was also the most sacred beginning for the entire universe to officially move from its initial “separation” to “perfection”!
The universe, on this wedding bed laid by Night and Sky, once again welcomed a thorough, all-encompassing evolution!
The profound Night, the curtain of Night symbolizing mystery, chaos, and infinite possibility, with an unprecedented, unguarded charm, slowly and proactively opened itself entirely to the Master of the Sky.
The Master of the Night unfurled her ancient embrace, releasing the chaotic essence that had gestured all things.
Henceforth, Night would no longer be a synonym for void, but rather transformed into the most fertile ground capable of nurturing life, destiny, and order.
The curtain of Night was no longer a mere realm of obscurity, but the most vast sea of stars, which proactively integrated into the immensity of the firmament.
The Great Father of All Spirits, His thunder, was not a destructive impact, but in a gentle manner, bestowed eternal radiance upon the Night, causing every star in the Night to emit a softer, more brilliant, and more dazzling radiance than before.
The world of the Heavenly Lord and the realm of the Night became deeply intertwined.
The contours of all things, in the interweaving of electric light and darkness, became clearer and more real.
At the core of this sacred fusion, the universe resonated with excitement, stars emitted unprecedented light in celebration, and galaxies bloomed radiantly like flowers in full bloom.
At the core of this sacred fusion, the entire universe resonated with excitement!
Countless stars emitted unprecedented light amidst the cheers!
Endless galaxies bloomed radiantly like flowers that had blossomed for billions of years!
Gaia’s Earth, bathed in this endless divine radiance, mountains and rivers, all radiated with new vitality; all beings, in this incomparably peaceful atmosphere, obtained unprecedented tranquility!
This magnificent and sacred cosmic phenomenon was the world’s formal acceptance of the Night; it was also the most heartfelt joy and response of all beings to this great union!
And it was in this perfect union of Sky and Night, Radiance and Dark Night, Order and Chaos, Civilization and Ignorance, that two new, great deities, wielding the supreme laws of the universe, were born!
First, the thunderous radiance of the Great Father of Destiny, after soaking into the profound night, gave rise to a magnificent network symbolizing cause and effect and balance.
It enveloped all sentient beings like an invisible giant net.
Thunder became the anvil for tempering karma; electric light became the ruler for measuring sins.
The dark currents at the deepest part of the Night’s domain crystallized under the illumination of the thunder’s light, forming an ethereal projection of scales that measured the good and evil of all things; the tranquil dark curtain spun the threads of balance, each strand of darkness weaving a net to correct fate’s excess.
On the Destiny Threads of the Heavenly Dao Order, invisible and shapeless “measuring threads” slowly appeared. They existed in the middle of every woven destiny thread, gently nudging those threads that were out of balance due to various reasons back onto the right track.
This was the universe’s most natural correction for all “excessive” behavior.
The breaths of the two supreme great gods, their fusion forming a divine embryo, pulsed violently in the womb of thunderclouds and stardust, manifesting the universe’s self-correcting will through perfect balance and harmony.
Finally, a strikingly independent goddess, with an imposing presence, descended from the vortex of thunder and shadow!
This was a solemn goddess, resembling a new bride, divinely solemn and inviolable.
She was clad in a night-colored robe woven from “measuring threads,” its hem flowing with silver ripples of starlight. Her eyes were frozen thunderstorms, and anyone she gazed upon could see the reflection of their inescapable due retribution.
In her left hand, she held a bronze set of scales, flashing with brilliant lightning.
On one end of the scales hung a wreath of thorns, a stern warning against all excessive behavior; on the other end rested a handful of morning dew, symbolizing the absolute clarity of the Heavenly Father’s and Mother of Night’s will within the cycle of karma.
In her right hand, she tightly gripped an incomparably dark long sword. Engraved upon its blade were countless minute and constantly changing esoteric patterns.
The hilt was “cause,” the blade was “effect.”
In the name of the divine righteousness of the God King, she would punish all sins and deliver their due retribution!
She represented divine cause and retribution!
She would forever uphold the balance and measure of the universe!
She would, in the abyss, carry out the most natural judgment upon all the arrogant!
She was the universe’s most natural corrective force against all excessive behavior!
She was the goddess of sacred retribution and karma—Nemesis!
Following the birth of this solemn goddess, a cluster of flickering, brilliant stardust quietly leaped out from the hazy depths of the Night.
She followed no predetermined trajectory, sometimes bright, sometimes dim, sometimes visible, sometimes hidden.
At times, she would coalesce into a dewdrop-like point of light; at other times, she would scatter into the tail flame of a meteor.
She was a young goddess born amidst the interweaving of thunder and Night, the fierce collision of light particles and dark matter, in the depths of the infinite Night, in the most random splash that suddenly erupted.
This goddess had golden hair and bare feet, radiating with spirit, wise and agile.
In her palm, she held a peculiar, constantly rotating dice.
This dice was made entirely of pure gold, its edges inlaid partly with lapis lazuli and partly with dark jade. Under illumination, it reflected a rainbow-like brilliant halo, with myriad colors changing unpredictably and elusively.
This dice had six sides, six patterns, and six colors. The patterns were: thundercloud pattern, mountain pattern, sword pattern, water wave pattern, star pattern, and a blank side.
The six colors were gold, orange, black, blue, purple, and white.
This was the dice of random destiny.
She danced barefoot in this netherworld curtain of Night, joyfully dancing as she pleased.
Her golden hair was entwined with countless fleeting bubbles, and within each bubble, a “possible” future was clearly reflected. With her cheerful dance, endless possibilities would rise and shatter one after another.
She kneaded chaos into the wagers of all spirits, scattering unpredictable turns and coincidences upon the fates of all beings.
Casually, she tossed this dice that determined luck and opportunity, laughing and scattering the golden dust called “Opportunity” and the gray haze called “Misfortune” upon the mortal world simultaneously.
A fatal sword might alter the trajectory of life and death by a hair’s breadth.
An unintentional encounter might decide a great love that would last a lifetime, until death.
A hero might completely change his life’s journey by picking up a shell she accidentally dropped.
A great dynasty might suddenly collapse due to a grain of sand inadvertently falling from her fingertips!
This was the goddess of luck, opportunity, and randomness—Tyche!
She was the embodiment of “luck.”
Her birth was not accidental.
It was the most tender randomness deliberately left by the Great Father of All Spirits, outside of absolute balance.
For the Great Father, who represented all “hope” and “future,” sowed the seeds of hope into the chaos of Night.
She was the infinite possibility gestated by Night, given form as “opportunity” by the power of thunder.
She would bring unpredictable variables to the destinies of all things.
All beings, in her slightly mischievous laughter, would tremble yet rejoice.
For it was this randomness that freed the entire universe from the cold, immutable destiny!
At this moment, every single Destiny Thread quietly split in two.
They intertwined and coiled around each other, weaving together everything for all beings!
On this new tapestry of destiny, “predetermined inevitability” and “random chance” shone simultaneously.
From then on, destiny would no longer possess only cold, emotionless inevitability.
It would also possess chance, which could self-adjust and was full of dynamism and hope.
This divine union not only birthed two new deities but also propelled the entire universe into a brand new, more perfect era!
From this moment on, the fundamental laws of this world would no longer be merely the order of light or the chaos of darkness!
Instead, it would be a most magnificent, benevolent, compassionate, and hopeful grand era filled with the future, the infinite, and the wonderful, composed by “cause and effect” and “randomness,” “inevitability” and “chance”!
The scales of Nemesis and the dice of Tyche would forever hang high in this merged universe.
One side would maintain the universe’s unshakeable balance of cause and effect; the other side would sow the seeds of random vitality, full of infinite possibility and hope, into this universe.
When all beings transgressed their boundaries, Nemesis’s scales would balance them; when all things were trapped in rigid fate, Tyche’s dice would inject new variables into them.
And all of this would operate perfectly under the supreme divine order of balance and dynamism, jointly created by the Great Father of Heaven and the Mistress of the Night!
Praise this divine union!
It gave the divine order of justice an unfathomable depth capable of encompassing everything!
It preserved the surprise of “chance” within the cold inevitability of the all-encompassing destiny!
This was the Supreme Great Father of All Spirits, once again, more generously bestowing upon all beings the most precious, spiritual freedom.
And the freedom of destiny, which they could choose for themselves!
Praise Zeus!
