Chapter 216: Mother Of Earth!
The warm Hestia suddenly smiled playfully, blinking her red and tender eyes at Zeus, easing the slightly stifling atmosphere.
She continued with a teasing tone, “Although you have no reputation left in such matters, it’s still better than losing a little more.”
Hearing this, Zeus couldn’t help but smile slightly, involuntarily tightening his arms, feeling deeply moved in his heart.
The warm Hestia always cared the most about all the gods around her.
He hugged these two beloved goddesses even tighter in his embrace.
He sighed softly, “You are all my most beloved and most important goddesses. I only want to give you all my best.”
“I have irredeemable flaws that have already made you suffer enough grievances. How could I bear to let you endure even a little more grievance that you shouldn’t have to bear?”
Hestia raised her hand and gently pressed it on Zeus’s lips.
Her warm and soft fingertips pressed on Zeus’s lips, also stopping the words He was about to say next.
This incarnation of the warmth of fire revealed the warmest smile on her gentle face: “Zeus, my love, being able to receive your love is already the greatest luck of my life. How could there be any grievance to speak of?”
“How could you know how flawless and radiant your great divinity is, and how enthusiastically brilliant it is.”
“Being able to receive your love makes everything in this world no longer important to me.”
Demeter smiled sweetly. She first kissed Zeus, then turned and gently kissed Hestia’s cheek.
She said warmly, “My dear Hestia, we will always be the closest family, we will always be together, and no god could be closer than us.”
Hestia nodded slightly, but suddenly thought of another god, her elegant brows already slightly furrowed.
She said softly, “Zeus, and Hera. She is the most loving and tender god, but lately she really…”
At this point, Hestia gently glared at Zeus and said in a tone that had really no deterrent force: “Zeus! You’ve really gone too far lately! You should go and comfort her properly!”
“How can you bear to let Hera remain so emotionally low? Her soft heart is about to be hurt by you!”
These words reminded Demeter, her brows suddenly furrowed, and she immediately pushed Zeus away and stepped back.
She crossed her arms, sneering sarcastically: “His Majesty the God King is busy with state affairs and overwhelmed with tasks. How could this supreme master remember us poor sisters?”
“As for sadness? Hah! His Majesty the God King, adored by so many goddesses, how could He care about us insignificant sisters?”
Zeus hurriedly shouted his innocence upon hearing this: “My dear Demeter, as you said, we will always be the closest lovers. How could I possibly forget you?”
“No matter when, I will always love you, always keep you in my heart, and always be the most concerned about you.”
“As for Hera, I even more do not want to hurt her heart.”
“I went to that Underworld for extremely important matters. Come here, my most lovely treasure, I have a gift for you.”
Demeter huffed coquettishly: “No matter what gift you give, I won’t forgive you just like that!”
Zeus smiled and forcibly pulled this half-willing Demeter back into his arms.
The amorous God King coaxed, “I’m giving you a gift not for a transaction.”
“But because I love you.”
“Because I want to give you the best and most suitable things.”
“What I want to see is just your heartfelt happy smile.”
“My love, please release all the defenses of your divinity.”
Demeter rolled her eyes coquettishly, but she was very pleased with Zeus’s words.
She truly did not want to leave the embrace of her beloved God King at all.
When facing Zeus’s request, she did not hesitate in the slightest.
She immediately revealed all of her divine origin without reservation.
Even though this meant exposing everything about her without defense in front of the God King, she did not hesitate.
Because she absolutely and completely trusted Zeus.
She willingly handed over everything of herself completely to Zeus.
Zeus saw it clearly; within Demeter’s vast divinity, the infinitely brilliant authorities of “agriculture” and “harvest” were so dazzling.
These two great authorities, essential to all civilizations, shone brightly within Demeter’s divinity.
This beauty had long surpassed the limits of all language and writing.
Even with the language and writing of the gods, it was equally impossible to describe the supreme beauty of these great laws.
These two great laws possessing infinite charm made even Zeus unable to resist being deeply fascinated and forever deeply loving them.
In all civilizations of this world, even all sentient beings, who would not revere “agriculture,” and who would not hope for “harvest”?
Moreover, Zeus saw clearly that within his beloved goddess’s divinity, intertwined with his own divinity, was the immeasurably heavy, undisguised deepest love for him.
Zeus took a deep breath, slowly calming his turbulent mind.
Then, from his own divinity, he extracted Cronus’s law symbolizing “growth,” as well as His own laws of “abundance” and “lushness.”
Along with a portion of Iapetus’s law of “cycle of recurrence,” he fully fused them into Demeter’s origin of laws.
As for Cronus’s authority of “harvest,” He laughingly accepted it himself, fusing it with the concepts of “reaping” and “severance” in his divinity.
At this moment, “agriculture,” “harvest,” “growth,” “abundance,” “lushness,” and part of “cycle of recurrence”—these six great laws and authorities converged in one god!
The most brilliant galaxy of life’s vitality erupted in an instant with an unprecedented radiance bright enough to illuminate the entire universe!
The entire universe, in that instant, burst into full bloom with a hundred plants and fruits ripened and fell.
A sacred fragrance filled with happiness and satisfaction wafted to every corner of the world.
It was the warm aroma of wheat ears under the sunlight and the sweet taste of fresh fruits on vines, the soft warmth of straw in twilight and the rich thickness of new grains in bamboo baskets.
It was the crisp tenderness of bean pods in morning dew and the soft mellowness of ripe apricots among branches, the fresh scent of taro in evening breeze and the fragrant beauty of nuts in bamboo sieves.
This gentlest, sweetest happiness of harvest spread throughout the world with the God King’s wind.
All things and all spirits of the entire world, at this moment, directed toward Olympus, issued silent praise from the depths of their souls:
Praise You, Mother of All Things’ Growth!
Praise You, Mother of Earth’s Harvest!
(The name Demeter in ancient Greek means Earth Mother or Mother of Earth, while Gaia’s meaning is the Earth itself.)
In this gift-giving, Demeter completely perfected her already vast authority.
Her divine essence, at this moment, received the most important and grandest sublimation and expansion.
Making her a great deity in the universe that could no longer be missing from any existence.
From this moment on, she became the greatest Earth Mother Goddess!
Praise the compassionate, generous, and loving Earth Mother Goddess—Demeter!
All living beings in the world exist because of the Earth Mother Goddess!
When Demeter came back to her senses from the sublimation of laws, her pair of emerald green beautiful eyes overflowed with endless vitality aura like spring fields.
And her undisguisable, and fundamentally unwilling to disguise, love for Zeus as deep as the earth.
Demeter’s temperament also gained a bit more change, becoming three parts more mature from a young goddess, with a touch more mature aura.
She was like a soft vine, softly and intimately pressing into Zeus’s embrace.
In a voice almost melting with coquettish charm, she said: “Zeus, my love… thank you, really thank you. It’s you who made me complete.”
Zeus dotingly stroked her soft emerald long hair, saying tenderly: “My most beloved treasure, you never need to say thank you to me.”
“You have already given me the most precious gift. The one who should say thank you is me.”
“My love, your flawless and sacred love is the most important treasure in my life.”
“No matter what I do, I cannot repay this sacred love you have for me.”
“Wuwuwu~ Zeus~”
The Earth Mother, already deeply moved, could no longer control her love for Zeus that burst like rivers breaching their banks.
She proactively offered this god king she deeply loved the sweetest juice with enthusiasm.
Her extremely enthusiastic and infatuated posture made Hestia, still at the side, unable to resist coughing heavily several times.
If she didn’t stop it now, this uncontrollably emotional Demeter was really going to put on a reckless, harvest-exclusive fiery drama right in front of her.
Zeus’s doting on Demeter did not make Hestia feel envious or jealous at all; she only felt sincerely happy for Demeter.
Because she was just such a warmest and most loving goddess.
At this moment, Demeter no longer cared at all that her dear Hestia was right beside her.
If it were any other goddess beside her, she definitely wouldn’t be like this and would definitely be extremely displeased.
But if it was Hestia, she was willing to share her Zeus with her!
However, Zeus still had some shame.
At least, a little bit.
The God King wouldn’t have none at all.
Mainly, for the first time, He still wanted each of his beloved goddesses to have the most complete and happiest experience.
