Chapter 264: Zeus Isn’t That Kind Of God
“You have always upheld the greatest and most sacred Justice.”
“In your eyes, there has never been only yourself, nor have you merely looked down upon everything from on high.”
“The mercy in your gaze has fairly bestowed upon all spirits. Even the most humble and insignificant lives, you have never forgotten.”
“You transformed the most powerful Thunder into tender rules for protecting all spirits; with the greatest power, you created and guarded truly universal goodness; with your supreme heart of compassion, you bestowed loving-kindness upon the universe’s myriad spirits.”
“You dispersed the Darkness, you erased the Fear, you corrected the injustice, and you bestowed the brightest Hope upon the entire Universe.”
“You are the most merciful and just Father of all things and spirits in the entire Universe!”
“You shelter and care for all living beings. You have always been perfecting Order, and countless laws and orders beyond my imagination have been gestated because of you.”
“My beloved, I, Order, become ever more perfect because of you. Everything I possess now was something I never dared to dream of in the past. Even exhausting all my imagination, I could not have conceived it.”
“You love me deeply, you understand me, you help me achieve perfection, you let me walk the most sacred and broadest path, and you enable me to realize all my value.”
“You love me so much, believing in me without reservation, even bestowing all power upon me without reservation. How honored I am.”
“My beloved, every time I see the gestation of those new laws and order, I feel sincerely happy. Because they are the Universe’s even better Foundation.”
“Combing through them one by one and integrating them into your great Heavenly Dao Order, I do so willingly and eagerly—what hardship is there?”
“My beloved, it is precisely because of you that I was not twisted by the old Darkness; that I can continue to exist; that I can uphold Justice and exalt Justice.”
“Because of you, I can preserve my Self and realize my Self. Justice is sublimated because of you!”
“So, my beloved, please never, ever say such distant words to me again.”
“Because I am forever yours! Forever and always, completely and absolutely, belonging only to you!”
Zeus only felt his chest surging with blazing fire across ten thousand acres, already spreading like wildfire.
He tightly, so tightly embraced Themis in his arms, murmuring in her fragrant beautiful hair: “Themis, Themis, my beloved Themis.”
“My Justice, my Order, my beloved. How fortunate I am to have you, to have your love.”
“In infinite time, in eternal years, I take pride in possessing you. Yes, yes, Order exists because of me; but Justice is beautiful because of you.”
“You hold the Scales of Order, while I hold the Authority of Thunder. I defend Justice and Balance for you; and you bring me eternal Justice and clarity.”
“This is us. We are the eternal Scale of each other’s Existence.”
“My Themis, I love you. You are the indispensable sacred Existence in my Divinity. Eternally unchanging!”
“Zeus~ my beloved!” The charming Themis’s eyes were like spring, her emotions reaching their depths, unable to restrain herself any longer.
She turned over and rose, kneading all her myriad charms into Order’s radiance, bestowing it all upon her sole eternal beloved.
When power shed its edge, Justice also shed its frost.
Like morning light tearing through night mist, bringing the sharpness of dawn, paving the prelude to all things’ awakening.
When Lightning splits Chaos, it always carries the most sacred light.
Thus, Thunder turned into tender Strings, playing the harmonious movement of Order.
Breaths interlocked, heartbeats synchronized.
I embrace your edge with Tenderness; you kiss my hesitation with Enthusiasm.
Souls embracing, bones entwining.
Judgment’s golden radiance kissed Justice’s Glory, all things singing in chorus amid the intertwining light threads.
When your Breath sweeps over me, Divinity resonates before our lips, shivers turning into the rhythm of heartbeats.
Two clusters of the most Origin eternal divine fires embraced at the Beginning and end of Space-time.
Spirit and Desire fulfilled each other in gasps.
They burned each other, yet in each other’s reflection, became ever more pristine.
All things retreated, and from then on, they became each other’s sole Laws.
Because of love, hence we Radiantly exist.
Order is born of the God King, exists because of Justice.
The God King is sacred because of Order, Radiant because of Justice.
Depending on and existing with each other, breathing and birthing together, never separating.
Light shines from love, Laws stand from love.
Amid power and law, love and Justice, the myriad realms found their indestructible foundation.
Exactly one hundred twenty days later, the God King finally helped his beloved Goddess of Order thoroughly comb through all the new laws, perfecting the entire Heavenly Dao Order once more.
Although the two gods separated after merely one hundred twenty days.
But they still clung together sweetly, unwilling to part for even a second.
The God King and His “Executive Vice God King” sat on a single Divine Seat, unwilling to part by even an inch.
They sat shoulder to shoulder, intimately handling affairs of state together, sometimes flipping through law jade tablets, sometimes exchanging smiles.
Occasionally, one would lean close to whisper, skin touching skin, ears brushing temples, and the Temple of Order would ripple with another layer of invisible golden light and watery hues.
The three Fates and three Goddesses of Seasons, as assistants, entered immediately after the golden clouds enveloping the Temple of Order dissipated, ready to help.
They all looked up together, seeing the scene of “two supreme gods on one Divine Seat.”
Six pairs of eyes first lit up simultaneously, then stiffened at the same moment, followed by a tacit, silent, swift retreat.
Being mischievous normally might be fine, but being naughty now would inevitably bring “misery.”
However, in their six goddesses’ little group chat, the complaining messages had already scrolled past ninety-nine plus.
‘Help! Father God and Mother Goddess are at it again!’
‘Aah—Father God and Mother Goddess are too much!’
‘How long has it been, and they’re still sitting together!’
‘Exactly, exactly!’
‘I feel my Divinity is being scorched by a light called “sickeningly sweet affection”!’
‘You still dare to look? I can’t even look!’
‘Exactly, exactly!’
‘Exactly, exactly!’
After a few breaths, another message popped up:
‘Whatever, let Them do Their thing, we still have our work. I’ll assign tasks, Atropos stop pretending to be offline, reply with a one if you see this.’
‘One…’
At this time, Zeus had clearly forgotten the Goddess of Night again.
Or rather, aside from the warm, fragrant soft jade in his embrace, He had basically forgotten all goddesses not in His sight.
This time, His union with the Goddess of Justice was relatively restrained, not stirring up sky-obscuring golden clouds and thunderous seas of magnificent phenomena.
It merely densely enveloped the entire Temple of Order into a sea of golden light stillness.
The gods in Olympus could still see that expanse of golden clouds symbolizing the harmonious resonance of “Order and Power.”
But gods not in Olympus might not even know about it.
The Goddess of Night far in the Netherworld, after her anger subsided, still had her heart filled with endless longing and Desire, involuntarily yearning for her most beloved God King.
She felt utterly baffled: so much time had passed, why hadn’t her beloved God King come to find her?
Lately, there hadn’t been any new phenomena either.
What on earth is that bad guy doing???
This…
This couldn’t really be eating dry and wiping clean without recognizing the goddess, could it?!!!
Gods can’t be that bad, right?!
“Impossible, impossible…” The lonely, solitary, cold Nyx sat listlessly on her Divine Seat.
This immortal, eternal supreme Existence, her perfect radiant pretty face even bore a hint of gauntness—an utterly unimaginable sight.
She muttered to herself: “Zeus isn’t that kind of god.”
She subconsciously looked down again, her long hair like tides, night like a curtain, confirming she still couldn’t see her toes, before barely soothing her anxious heart.
Zeus was so gluttonous, He couldn’t possibly abandon her.
Moreover, the huge surprise she prepared for Him, He hadn’t “eaten” it yet.
Even if He really wanted to eat dry and wipe clean without acknowledging, this… this hasn’t even eaten dry and wiped clean yet.
Nearby, the Goddess of Daylight Hemera looked at her own Mother’s unpredictable stunning profile.
And the resentful black qi swirling around the Divine Throne, nearly condensing into substance—her heart pounded anxiously too.
Although over this period, she had gradually grown accustomed to her Mother’s mood shifts of sudden rage, resentment, and expectation.
But habit didn’t mean no tension; each time she saw it, her heart still raced a bit.
Moreover, if she claimed not to be anxious herself, that would be false.
This period, she only felt time passing so slowly it was indescribable.
Times that used to pass in a blink now felt frozen, unmoving.
The bit by bit torment in her heart was indescribable.
Nyx’s expression shifted dramatically again.
Her slender waist moved, and she abruptly stood, her Divine Power turning into all-devouring shadows, about to charge toward Olympus regardless!
But after standing, she thought better of it, and the star-destroying aura slowly receded as she slumped back down once more.
The humble Goddess of Night truly didn’t dare risk even the slightest chance of angering her beloved God King.
Thinking it over and over, the Goddess of Night gritted her silver teeth.
Ultimately deciding to continue bombarding that bad guy with messages in the Divine Thought channel!
She vowed to drown his Divine Thought channel completely with her longing and resentment, forcing Him to come to the Netherworld to see her!
Looking at the long string of “unread” in the Divine Thought channel, she cursed inwardly: ‘Damn it! Is Olympus that great?!!’
Then continued sending messages…
