Chapter 33: “big Account And Small Account”
“Yo, didn’t you say there were only chicken rolls?”
Looking at the meal tray Lin Xiuyuan brought over, Jung Soo Yeon’s tone was a bit teasing, but her gaze swept over him with delight.
Lin Xiuyuan, however, calmly placed the meal tray in front of her, “There’s still fruit and vegetables, and plenty of salad dressing, so I added an extra meal for you.”
Gazing at the tempting fruit and vegetable salad, Jung Soo Yeon’s smile grew wider, “Then it’s okay to not have chicken rolls.”
“Eat them all together.”
After putting things down, Lin Xiuyuan no longer stood at the doorway but pulled over another chair and sat beside her, looking at the post on the screen, “What are you looking at? It’s a Chinese translation to Korean, there are bound to be some errors and omissions.”
“It’s fine, I can understand most of it.”
After spearing a piece of apple and eating it, Jung Soo Yeon said, “But I didn’t expect Hyo Min and the others to have such a bad time later. When we chatted privately, we all thought they’d be able to make a comeback in the latter half of the year after getting through the first half.”
So when she saw the content of this post, she realized that T-ara had completely faltered and was eventually lost in the crowd.
To be honest, it was a bit beyond her expectations.
“I don’t really understand either. There’s so much information online, I don’t know which is true and which is false.”
As he spoke, Lin Xiuyuan reached out and operated the mouse, closing the small website tab that Jung Soo Yeon had accidentally opened earlier.
Then, under her playful smile, he continued, “But many people say that there were high-level power struggles involved, at least it’s related. And there’s the issue of trust, right? A group of members cobbled together and debuted in a hurry. It wasn’t just the company that didn’t trust them, they didn’t even build trust among themselves.”
Hearing this, Jung Soo Yeon was about to nod when she noticed Lin Xiuyuan’s gaze on her and immediately rolled her eyes.
“What are you looking at me for? Our internal situation seems quite harmonious right now.”
“I understand. Having just achieved your topping goal, you’re like newlyweds who just got their marriage certificate; there’s always a honeymoon period.”
Listening to Lin Xiuyuan’s teasing, Jung Soo Yeon was about to retort a few words when she suddenly remembered the two books she had read these past few days. She turned her head, snorted coldly, and turned away, ignoring him.
However, while keeping her mouth shut, she was once again troubled by the information she had seen earlier about her future self.
So, after viciously biting into a banana, she looked at Lin Xiuyuan and asked, “What do you think if I want to meet my other self here?”
“Huh? You want to meet Jessica?”
“That way you put it sounds really strange.”
Jung Soo Yeon mumbled, but still nodded.
Then she saw Lin Xiuyuan shaking his head vigorously, “Are you crazy? What a joke. Jessica over there has already made herself into a mess, how could I dare let her know this secret? Krystal also asked about something similar before, and in the end, she herself felt it wasn’t appropriate. You shouldn’t even think about it.”
After speaking, Lin Xiuyuan frowned and looked at Jung Soo Yeon, “But why are you looking for her? There’s nothing to talk about, right?”
The next second, he saw Jung Soo Yeon flailing her arms and saying with unusual excitement, “How can there be nothing to say? If I get the chance, I’ll have to rip her mouth and eyes apart. Since she’s already this blind and unwilling to speak, what’s the point of having eyes and a mouth?”
Startled, Lin Xiuyuan quickly pulled her chair a little further away from the computer desk, afraid he might hit his beloved ‘flowers and plants’.
This action also made Jung Soo Yeon annoyed, and she shot him an exasperated eye-roll.
“Don’t be so angry, calm down. Think of your self in this time-space as a max-level character that’s gone to waste. Go back to 2013 and plan things there well, properly plan out the life of your alt character. When there’s a good opportunity in the future, I’ll bring Jessica over and let her properly repent in front of you.”
Ever since Krystal told him he didn’t know how to coax girls last time, Lin Xiuyuan had undoubtedly put a lot of effort into learning in this area.
And indeed, after many days of studying, his success was finally showing its first effect.
However, the effect wasn’t very significant because Jung Soo Yeon, after smiling for a few seconds, glared at him again, “No, why is she the main character and I’m the alt character?”
Lin Xiuyuan was stunned. His mind raced, and he immediately replied, “Because she’s older, she’s almost going through menopause. And you’re right in the prime of your life, young and beautiful, vibrant and radiant. Or do you want to be the main character?”
“Forget it, I’ll let her have it.”

Compared to the clumsiness of their first meeting, he was indeed much more articulate now.
“Self-taught.”
“Nonsense.”
Muttering a couple of sentences, Jung Soo Yeon continued to eat and browse the computer.
Lin Xiuyuan sat beside her, occasionally answering her questions and also pulling her away from the screen to cool her temper.
Time quietly slipped away like this.
The night outside faded, the sky gradually brightened, and a new day quietly arrived.
Glancing at the sky outside, Lin Xiuyuan turned to Jung Soo Yeon, who was still staring at the screen, “Do you want to keep watching? How about resting for a bit first? The computer is right here, you don’t have to finish it all at once, it’s not going anywhere.”
Hearing Lin Xiuyuan say this, Jung Soo Yeon finally let go of the mouse she had been holding, straightened her back, and stretched her muscles.
As she stretched, her figure became perfectly straight, immediately revealing her graceful form. Lin Xiuyuan’s gaze couldn’t help but fall on her chest.
Seeing his gaze fall on her chest, Jung Soo Yeon turned her head and gave him a look, “Are you starving?”
To this, Lin Xiuyuan, who had stayed up all night, was incredibly clear-headed and replied calmly with lightning speed, “If I don’t look where I’m going, wouldn’t that make you less charming?”
Jung Soo Yeon opened her mouth, wanting to retort, but couldn’t find any flaw in his words.
She couldn’t exactly say she lacked charm.
So she could only roll her eyes at him and point at him exasperatedly, “Your mouth… tsk tsk, it seems like this place has really spoiled you too much.”
Lin Xiuyuan spread his hands and shrugged, feigning innocence.
He then led her to the second bedroom next door, “This room is for you. Everything inside is newly equipped and unused, so feel free to stay.”
Standing at the doorway of the second bedroom, Jung Soo Yeon pointed upstairs, “I’m living on the second floor alone, what about the third floor?”
“The entire floor above is the master bedroom.”
Hearing this, Jung Soo Yeon’s eyes lit up, “Can I go up and take a look?”
Lin Xiuyuan, however, skirted the question, “What’s there to see? Let’s sleep first.”
Just as Jung Soo Yeon was about to say something else, Lin Xiuyuan’s phone rang from his pocket, drawing both their attention.
“Who is it?”
“What do you think?”
Muttering, Lin Xiuyuan took out his phone and waved it in front of Jung Soo Yeon.
The caller ID clearly showed ‘Krystal’, striking her to the core.
