Chapter 55: One Person Is An Army!
Kusanagi Village, compared to other Ninja Villages, looks more like a village, because its buildings are low and scattered, with crisscrossing paths between the fields.

The Castle Lord of Ghost Lantern City changes every ten years, but every one is an elite Ninja from the ‘Mu’ clan.

Mui and Mujo, both in their early twenties, are in their rising phase with boundless futures.
They could even compete for the position of Kusanagi Village Leader in the future.
Spending over a decade of their prime in Ghost Lantern City is not worth it!
“In that case, Mui will serve as the new Castle Lord of Ghost Lantern City.” Seeing Mui volunteer, Kusanagi Koji pondered for a moment and nodded.
“Move your family to Ghost Lantern City as well.” Kusanagi Koji remembered Mui’s child, who was just a three-year-old boy.

Even when village Ninja were injured on missions, only Chunin and above had qualification to receive treatment in that special ward.
Otherwise, if every Genin went for a bite upon injury, sucking Chakra and life force, Uzumaki Kushina would have been drained dry long ago.
Even so, Uzumaki Kushina’s physical condition worsened day by day; she probably had only a few years left.
“Who’s there!” Mui and Mujo, along with Kusanagi Village Anbu Captain Ryusei, positioned themselves in front of Kusanagi Koji, assuming combat stances.
Other Kusanagi Village Ninja also gathered here, assembling around the Hospital, their expressions grave with Hatred as they surrounded the mysterious person.
“Your Excellency attacks Kusanagi Village without reason! Do you intend to make an enemy of Kusanagi Village!” Kusanagi Koji also drew a Short Sword, Body Flickering forward to angrily question.
Though the opponent was clearly after the Uzumaki Clan, his hair was not red, so he shouldn’t be a remnant of the Uzumaki Clan. It was just unknown how he knew Kusanagi Village harbored Uzumaki Clan members!
There must be a spy in the village!

A month ago, the mysterious Ninja attack on Konohagakure and Cloud Village had some news sealed, but Cloud Village’s 70 million ryo Bounty on Shura was real gold and silver.

In mid-air, Shinigami swung its Scythe, tracing crimson arcs, countless Wind Blades assaulting the restrained Kusanagi Ninja, harvesting their Chakra and lives.
Celestial Maiden’s Ribbon pierced countless Kusanagi Ninja like a soft sword!
In an instant, Kusanagi Village was drowned in countless agonized cries!
