More than an hour later, Senior Izumi discovered that Senior Ikeizumi’s “take a stroll” really seemed to just mean wandering idly around Konoha.
She didn’t see the senior exhibit any of that professional case-solving prowess.
She also didn’t see the senior searching for evidence clues related to the case.
She felt like she had already followed the senior around the entire Konoha Village, even circling the Uchiha Clan residence, and even lingering briefly inside the Hokage’s Office Building.
Senior Izumi was in a dazed and bewildered state the entire time, completely unable to figure out what the senior was doing or what she herself should do.

Senior Izumi nearly teared up with relief.
