Chapter 131:
Pei Yuzhou stared at her little mouth moving, “You only eat if I feed you? How old are you?”
Meng Shuyou made up nonsense casually, “Three.”
“Fine, treating you like my daughter.” Pei Yuzhou cut another small piece of foie gras and fed it to her, “One more bite.”
Meng Shuyou enjoyed his feeding with peace of mind—who made him the culprit, leaving her sore and weak all over.
Pei Yuzhou was in a good mood, his brows relaxed and satisfied, slowly and unhurriedly continuing to feed her.
When the scallop was brought to her mouth, Meng Shuyou showed a face full of refusal, “I don’t eat this.”
Pei Yuzhou scoffed, “Picky eater.”
She turned her head away, “I don’t like this smell.”
Pei Yuzhou gave her other dishes instead.
Dinner was finished unknowingly just like that. Meng Shuyou went to the bathroom to rinse her mouth, then came back to catch up on sleep.
At nine o’clock, the airplane landed steadily.
A driver had been arranged in advance to pick them up outside the airport. Pei Yuzhou still personally escorted the little girl to the school gate before heading back.
Meng Shuyou picked up her bag and got out of the car, “I’m heading back to the dormitory. Goodbye, Mister Pei.”
It was quite late, and Pei Yuzhou was worried, “Shall I walk you in?”
Meng Shuyou refused immediately, “No need, no need. There are still people on the way. I can go back by myself.”
If other classmates saw this, who knew what messy gossip would spread.
“Be careful. Let me know when you get to the dormitory.” Pei Yuzhou instructed.
“Mm-hmm, I know.” Meng Shuyou closed the car door and turned to walk toward the school gate.
Watching her go in, Pei Yuzhou then told the driver to drive.
–
Monday’s first class was the early eight o’clock one.
Winnie entered the classroom right on time, tote bag slung over one arm and a cup of coffee in the other hand.
Meng Shuyou had saved her a seat. Seeing her rushing in, she was used to it, “Overslept again?”
Winnie hung her bag on the chair and sat down, sighing helplessly, “When the alarm clock rang the first time, I was sleeping soundly. Somehow I groggily turned it off, and when I opened my eyes again, it was already seven-thirty. I was so scared I jumped out of bed, and only when I went out did I realize I’d put on one mismatched sock.”
Meng Shuyou looked down at her ankle—sure enough, one yellow and one white. She was wearing cropped pants, with a section of sock showing.
Winnie felt fortunate, “Good thing it’s not one black and one white—that would be more embarrassing.”
Meng Shuyou smiled and comforted her, “It’s fine. Others might think it’s some new trendy outfit.”
Winnie took a sip of coffee to refresh herself, “That’s true. These days, even underwear can be worn outside. Deliberately wearing two different colored socks isn’t rare anymore.”
Meng Shuyou was amused by her.
This was an illustration design elective class, and the teacher hadn’t arrived yet.
“Yaoyao, how was your weekend? What time did you get back yesterday?” Winnie asked.
Meng Shuyou opened the drawing app on her iPad, “A little after nine at night.”
“That late? I remember you said there was only an afternoon flight.”
“Mister Pei brought me back.”
Winnie immediately understood, “Okay, okay, having a private plane makes all the difference.”
Her eyes glinted slyly as she sneakily leaned over and tugged at Meng Shuyou’s collar. A bright red kiss mark came into view, “Tsk tsk, so intense. Was it because of this that you missed the flight?”
Meng Shuyou instinctively covered her shoulder and moved away from her, “You’re such a rogue.”
Winnie couldn’t help laughing, “Hey, the rogue isn’t me. This wasn’t made by me—don’t wrongly accuse a good person.”
She put on an innocent victim act, and Meng Shuyou found it funny, not knowing how to retort.
Mainly because that missed flight was indeed a fact.
“Excessive indulgence isn’t good.” Winnie lowered her voice and gossiped, “But I’ve always been curious—what do you think of his skills?”
“Do you have to ask this during class?” Meng Shuyou simply threw the question back at her, “Then I want to ask about Mister Zhao too.”
Winnie shrugged and admitted generously, “Pretty good. I’m quite satisfied—way better than my ex anyway.”
She was completely candid, “To be honest, I’m with him because I crave his body.”
Zhao Hesong’s face and figure were right up her alley, and he was great in bed—she couldn’t resist.
Meng Shuyou hadn’t expected her to be so direct.
Winnie was just about to press further when the teacher walked into the classroom, and the topic ended there.
