Chapter 30: The Second Ghost Face
This Ghost Tree Forest is no different from the woods beside ordinary rural paths, just denser and more lush.
Overnight, weeds, bushes, and even chirping insects grew in the Ghost Tree Forest.
But all of this appeared so terrifying in everyone’s eyes!
Everyone knew that the trees surrounding them might all be friends or relatives from the village, people they saw often.
Jiang Shan tensely watched the surroundings of the woods. He now not only wanted to find the ghost at the source of this Ghost Tree Forest but also the fierce ghosts resurrected after those two ghost wielders died!
But in such dense woods, even with ten people holding lights, visibility in Jiang Shan’s eyes was less than five meters.

“Stay calm in a bit!” Jiang Shan said to everyone.
He swung a gold short stick as thick as a one-yuan coin, smashing it hard several times at a nearby ghost tree.

But before Jiang Shan could act, a crisp slap echoed in the woods.

He saw the screaming woman was one of his lovers, even though his legs trembled with fear right now.
But recalling what Jiang Shan had said, he endured his fear, walked to the woman’s side, and slapped her.
The woods returned to deathly stillness again.

Seeing the fierce ghost suddenly appear before her, Chen Yue nearly dropped the flashlight in fright. She endured her fear and turned it off and on again.
The light flickering on again was like the death god urging her demise.
That black humanoid figure suddenly extended a pair of hands covered in wood shavings, grabbing viciously at Chen Yue’s neck!
The rotting stench mixed with chilling air made Chen Yue’s heart chill. She looked at Jiang Shan with pleading eyes.
At this moment, Jiang Shan was fully prepared. His ghost domain within less than a meter had locked onto the ghost’s position. Though ghost characters couldn’t appear in the Ghost Tree Forest, in the dead face ghost’s ghost domain, it showed no change.
“Finally got you!” Jiang Shan shouted angrily.
The scarlet ghost characters instantly crawled over every part of the black ghost shadow’s body. Yellow floating objects in the gray fog also gathered on the black ghost shadow.
A human outline appeared before everyone.
“Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!”
The sound of the short stick cutting through the air rang out!
Jiang Shan swung the blood-red short stick, smashing repeatedly at that red-yellow human outline.
In a few breaths, under the suppression of ghost characters and the dead face ghost, and supernatural assault, the originally over two-meter-tall black ghost shadow was smashed by Jiang Shan into a puddle of black mud, wriggling nonstop on the ground under the flashlight’s light.
Seeing the light-fearing ghost suppressed to near dormancy, Jiang Shan, amid everyone’s horrified faces, unhesitatingly thrust his hand into this puddle of black mud.

He had no red ghost candle, no substitute doll. Only this fierce ghost was key to his survival!
Under Jiang Shan’s gaze, the black mud instantly spread from his hands to his arms. Then this puddle of viscous black mud emitting corpse odor blended into his body bit by bit like milk and water, finally disappearing.
“The ghost went into his body?” That young woman said in horror again.
“Shut up! Keep talking crap and I’ll smash your mouth!” Guo Dezhong saw it was his lover again and couldn’t help cursing.
He knew Jiang Shan’s temper. If this woman interfered with Jiang Shan again.

Suddenly, Jiang Shan knelt on the ground, letting out painful growls.

that black ghost shadow was eaten by the ghost face on Jiang Shan’s face!

When Jiang Shan slowly stood up with Chen Yue’s help and activated the ghost domain again, he discovered.
In the three-layered ghost domain, all living people around him had vanished.
Instead, countless tree people with agonized expressions “grew” around him.
Their bodies were weirdly stretched extremely long. Black-red flesh and blood with tattered bodies stood rigidly in place in a scientifically inexplicable weirdness.
