Stellar Train’s All Heavens Travel – Chapter 131

Angel Yan

Chapter 131: Angel Yan

“How is this world?” Seeing the three come out of the cockpit, March 7th asked impatiently.

Under everyone’s gaze, Meng Huaifeng spoke: “This world is a bit tragic. With the appearance of spatiotemporal wormholes in the sky, aliens, demons, angels, and a series of other civilizations successively descended on Earth, bringing huge crises and wars. Earth inherited the legacy of Superdimension Academy and Deno Civilization, formed Xiong Bing Lian to defend Earth, and grew continuously in the baptism of war, ultimately becoming a god. Earth will become the focus of attention for the gods, the center of the universe.”

“This is too tragic, right? Advanced civilizations invading low-level civilizations, no one in this universe cares about such immoral things?” March 7th asked.

“Someone does, Angel Civilization. However, precisely because they meddle too much and stand against most advanced civilizations, the other civilizations have joined forces, and they are already struggling to hold on.” Meng Huaifeng said.

“However, it might also be because the ultimate fear is about to descend, urgently needing a great war to temper the gods and make them grow, so they let it happen?” Meng Huaifeng speculated.

“What is the ultimate fear?” Himeko asked.

“Every hundred thousand years or so, the civilizations in this world are inexplicably destroyed. The people of this universe call it the ultimate fear. The last civilization destroyed was Shenhe Civilization, with only a tiny portion surviving. To confront the ultimate fear, they established Superdimension Academy across the universe, leading various civilizations onto the path of becoming gods through technology and genes…”

Then Meng Huaifeng briefly introduced the various civilization forces and general history of this universe.

“Could it be that previous advanced civilizations, to prevent newborn civilizations from threatening them, periodically wipe out existing ones?” Welt frowned.

“No way, Uncle Yang, this is an entire universe’s civilizations, wiped out directly, that’s too dark, right?” March 7th shivered, saying somewhat fearfully.

“Don’t apply our universe’s situation to other universes. After experiencing two outer universes, I’ve found that without the influence of similar powerful and selfless aeons, most universes are likely on the path of the Dark Forest Law.” Welt said gravely.

Hong Kou and Po Xiao’s faces looked somewhat unpleasant; their planet likely suffered disaster for this reason.

“Good thing I’m not from another universe.” March 7th said gratefully.

“Our universe doesn’t have the Dark Forest Law, but it has other threats, like the Aeon of Abundance, Destruction Aeon, and such. It’s hard to say which is better.” Himeko smoothed March 7th’s pink hair, soothing her shock after learning about the Dark Forest Law.

“For those whose hometowns were destroyed by swarms, Destruction Legion, or Abundance followers, other universes might be better, while for those in other universes who encounter advanced civilizations and get inexplicably destroyed, our universe is better.” Welt said.

“Good and bad aren’t spoken or compared; only true experience reveals it. In reality, most people in the universe never encounter either situation in their lifetime; to them, there’s no difference.” Meng Huaifeng said.

“Forget it, let’s not discuss this; it’s too creepy.” March 7th rubbed the goosebumps on her arms, complaining: “Why is everywhere we go facing a crisis? This is too unreasonable. Can’t we have a relaxed and pleasant pioneer journey?”

“Let me count: Yarilo VI, Scavenger World, Luofu, and if we include Herta Space Station, in just five stops, we’ve been saviors four times! We can’t ignore this world either, that makes five! Oh my, this is too ridiculous. Are all planets facing crises, not a single peaceful one?” March 7th counted on her fingers, her expression growing more surprised.

“No choice; many feel peaceful worlds have no meaning.” Meng Huaifeng shrugged.

“Cough, no need to say that out loud.” Welt cleared his throat: “Think positively; if we hadn’t come, these worlds would suffer unknown hardships, even total destruction. It’s tiring, but worth it.”

“Uncle Yang is right; March has no awareness at all. This time, I’ll show my divine power again.” A Xing felt being a savior was never too much.

“Who says this lady has no awareness? I just learned sword technique!” March 7th glared at A Xing.

“According to Huai Feng, the so-called gods in this universe are all tech gods, following the gene enhancement route. Their inherent combat power may not be strong, but using technology, their destructive power should barely reach envoy level. Everyone needs to be extra careful in this world.” Himeko cautioned.

Sun God exploding the sun to destroy a galaxy indeed barely reached envoy level in performance.

If Himeko prepared fully, she could similarly achieve such destructive power through technological means.

However, this obviously couldn’t be used as a regular method. Normally, at peak state, the main gods of each civilization, even with all conventional technological means, would at most barely reach top-tier pathfinder level, or even less.

For example, the first Nuo Xing War God splitting Lieyang Civilization’s home planet in half with one axe.

Kaisa might be a bit stronger, but not by much, still top-tier pathfinder level.

The gap between top-tier pathfinders is greater than between human and dog.

The weak cut planets, the strong cut stars; the diameter gap between planets and stars is hundreds of times, and volume millions of times more.

“We’ll be careful.” Everyone responded together.

“This universe has so many civilizations; since we’re here, let’s pioneer them together. This trip is tentatively set for half a year. How about it, Pam?” Pamu said.

Douluo and Scavenger World don’t know the existence or locations of other civilizations in the same universe; finding them is like finding a needle in a sea. But this world clearly has other civilizations, so it can be explored.

Anyway, no matter how long here, returning is just one day; the stay can be relaxed.

Mainly, these civilizations are scattered across the universe, requiring more time.

“Fine; if accidents arise later, we adjust. Our train’s passengers are increasing, so this pioneer journey is divided into two groups.” Himeko nodded, arranging.

“The planet under our feet is about to face crisis; we can’t sit idly by. March, A Xing, Huai Feng, you three are stronger; form one group, stay on this planet to help as needed. Welt leads.” Himeko looked at Welt.

“This planet resembles my hometown somewhat; I’m very interested.” Welt said nostalgically.

“Perfect then. Zhu Qing, Hong Kou, Po Xiao, you three form a group; I’ll lead, go pioneer other relatively safe civilizations. Dan Heng, trouble you to guard the train this time.”

“No problem.” Dan Heng nodded faintly.

“Our group will follow the train to another civilization before getting off. If this planet’s situation is calm then, you can use realm anchor to teleport over and join. But not too frequently; the distance is so far, too much fuel consumption will distress Pamu.” Himeko smiled.

“I’m not that stingy, pa!” Pamu stomped its furry foot.

The train’s fuel, when full, can be stored separately, with many other uses.

After Acheron disappeared, the Nameless lacked power to pioneer new worlds, barely maintaining previous routes; fuel couldn’t cover costs, and after a thousand years, stored fuel was exhausted, stranding it.

So after setting sail again, Pamu often fell into fuel anxiety, being frugal; passengers minimized realm anchor use until Meng Huaifeng joined, fully resolving the fuel shortage.

But Pamu’s fuel anxiety couldn’t be changed; for it, more stored fuel meant more peace of mind.

“Same old rule; I’ll scout this planet’s general situation first. You all pack up too.” Welt said.

“Uncle Yang, I have a question. With our technological means, we could scan a planet thoroughly, right? Is that pioneering?” Meng Huaifeng asked.

“It counts, but there are two sayings you may not have heard: What is learned from books is shallow; true understanding requires action. Reading ten thousand books is not as good as traveling ten thousand miles.” Welt adjusted his glasses, explaining like a teacher.

“Meaning that does advance the pioneer destiny, but far less than personal exploration?” Meng Huaifeng said.

“Exactly. Another reason: scanning too detailed is provocation and threat to local forces, more likely triggering alarms in heavily guarded places. Once discovered, it sours relations with local forces.” Welt said again.

Meng Huaifeng nodded in realization, like someone viewing his space or friends circle—he wouldn’t care, but probing private albums would make him confront them.

……

Ju Xia City.

The unique spatial and energy fluctuations when Stellar Train appeared drew Superdimension Academy’s attention, as well as the angels secretly observing Earth.

Angel Yan concealed her form in the air, her pure white wings slowly flapping behind her.

Her eyes turned white, Eye of Insight reading dark plane information.

“A train rushing out of a wormhole, opening the wormhole directly into the city center; this positioning technology needs improvement.”

“Hmm, very strong protection technology, unable to analyze; strange energy, never seen before. Which civilization researched this? But their protection of ordinary people suggests they can be classed in the Justice Order.”

“Can only read data on the train’s appearance; can’t read inside the train. Looks like I need to check them personally.”

“Wait, this is… Power of the Galaxy, Nuo Xing War God? A loser, a thug, tsk, a main god raised like this? What is Superdimension Academy planning?”

After analyzing Power of Preservation for a while with no progress, Yan finally gave up, spread her wings, and flew into space, finding the not-especially-hidden Stellar Train.

“Hey, anyone in the train?” Angel Yan knocked on the door, asking casually.

Inside the train, everyone looked at Angel Yan through the window.

“She’s really beautiful.” A Xing’s eyes widened.

“Is this an angel?” Himeko said, opening the door and stepping out.

Before confirming if the other was friend or foe, she wouldn’t be let into the train.

“Hello, Miss Angel. We are Nameless of the Stellar Train; I’m Himeko. May I have your name?” Himeko asked kindly.

After Meng Huaifeng’s brief intro to this universe’s top civilizations, everyone’s first impression of Angel Civilization was good.

“Hello, Miss Himeko. I’m Angel Yan.” Yan linked the database to query Stellar Train and Nameless, finding no matching info.

“Stellar Train, I’ve never heard of it.” Yan frowned.

“We come from outside this universe; normal not to have heard on first visit.”

“Outside the known universe?” Yan was surprised.

“You could say that.” Himeko nodded.

Yan’s expression grew serious; no wonder the protection tech and energy didn’t match known universe tech systems.

Yan used Eye of Insight again, trying to read the train crew’s dark info.

Meng Huaifeng saw data streams emanating from Yan, frowning.

This universe surely had no records of their dark info; impossible to find the train crew’s past.

But surface data could be read, like height, weight, measurements, even moles or birthmarks.

Under Yan’s Eye of Insight, others were as if naked.

Meng Huaifeng unhesitatingly used aether editing to cut off her info.

Yan was slightly stunned; what technique cracked Eye of Insight so easily?

“Angel Yan, you’re being rude; peeking at others’ privacy without permission—is this how angels conduct themselves?” Meng Huaifeng said coldly.

Himeko frowned slightly; Angel Civilization upholds justice and protects the weak, but unwittingly developed an arrogant superiority.

Noticing the train crew’s attitude toward her grow distant, Yan teased: “Kid, don’t be so angry. I won’t look at messy stuff. Besides, even if seen by such a beautiful goddess, you don’t lose out, kid.”

“What? What did you see? No, I have to look back!” A Xing stared brightly at Yan.

Yan looked at A Xing in surprise: “Sure, kid. When it’s just you and me, sister will let you look your fill.”

“Then to my room; my room has a cat that does backflips.” A Xing rushed over, grabbing Yan’s hand to pull her into the train.

Scaring March 7th to hurriedly grab A Xing’s other hand: “A Xing! Don’t be fooled by a mature beautiful big sister; what if they fight inside the train?”

Yan didn’t expect A Xing to be serious, suddenly panicking; she tugged her hand but couldn’t free it—A Xing’s grip was like steel rebar.

Luckily March 7th held A Xing back, but Yan wouldn’t lose face: “Looks like someone doesn’t welcome me; next time then. Next time come find sister alone; you can look at anything.”

Yan hooked A Xing’s chin with her other hand.

“Is she really an angel? Why does she seem more like a fox spirit than Xianzhou fox people?” March 7th muttered softly.

Xianzhou? Fox person? Yan’s ears twitched, precisely catching keywords—civilizations outside known universe?

“The known universe’s dirtiest angel, infamous old driver, dirty demon king, Angel Civilization’s bottom line on decency—not surprising.” Meng Huaifeng replied directly without team voice.

“You… you probed me? When?” Yan clutched her chest armor, incredulously; why no detection?

“Guess?” Meng Huaifeng smirked smugly; guess away—one guess and silence, hilarious; no probing at all, all from original world plot.

“Now you know how it feels to be probed after casually probing others?”

Yan’s face changed several times; probing done, can’t change; she generously lowered her hand, pretending nonchalance: “Kid, is sister pretty? Fell for sister yet?”

“Average.” Meng Huaifeng pursed his lips.

“Show me too.” A Xing poked Meng Huaifeng.

“You really looked?” March 7th pinched Meng Huaifeng’s waist.

“Hiss~ No, no, I bluffed her; I knew from elsewhere. You know.” Meng Huaifeng hurriedly said.

Yan breathed relief; now she smirked.

After laughing a bit, Yan seriously said: “I apologize for earlier. Earth is targeted by several god-making civilizations; disaster imminent. I just wanted to confirm if you’re in the Justice Order, and your purpose here.”

“You can think of Nameless as travelers bravely embarking on pioneer journeys to explore the universe’s unknowns. Our purpose here is simply because we haven’t been, so explore. But since the planet below faces crisis, our purpose adds helping it.” Himeko said.

Just one side’s word, but combined with protecting ordinary people on arrival, Angel Yan tentatively believed.

“Have you heard of angels’ Justice Order?” Yan asked.

“Heard a bit.” Himeko said, just from Meng Huaifeng.

“Then, learn about Justice Order?” Yan tilted her head slightly.

“All ears.”
