“If you don’t want to learn, I won’t teach you either,” Lu Ziyi complained. “Someone with your lack of talent shouldn’t tell anyone I taught you!”
Zhao Congrui grumbled, “Lu Ziyi, if you can’t teach well, just say so. Why do you have to say I have no talent?”
“Fine, I’ll reluctantly teach you well then!”

Ye Chuxiao and Lin Houchun stood by the courtyard, watching Zhao Congrui and Lu Ziyi argue.
“Ziyi, Congrui, Xiaoxiao, Houchun, breakfast is ready,” Leng Yanfei walked over and called out affectionately.
“I’m going to eat breakfast.” Zhao Congrui seized the opportunity to slip away.
“Thank you, Aunt Leng,” Lin Houchun and Ye Chuxiao also left.
Lu Ziyi walked over leisurely, with Leng Yanfei waiting for him.
“Ziyi,” Leng Yanfei said in a hushed voice, “Your mother is being considerate, right? I didn’t wake you and Xiaoxiao up last night. Where did you two go on your date last night?”

“You and Father are very busy with work, you’re not leaving today, are you?”
Leng Yanfei felt a sense of being choked, was she not on the same wavelength as her son?
Leng Yanfei chuckled, “Mom didn’t know Ziyi loved Mom so much before, writing letters and planting apple trees. Mom is so touched! Mom owes you too much in your childhood, so I’ve decided to put down my work and spend this summer vacation with you properly.”
Another summer vacation?! Lu Ziyi exclaimed, “Mom, there’s no need. I’m grown up now and don’t need Mom’s company!”
“I do! I need to take good care of my son, and—my daughter-in-law!”
I don’t need you, the third wheel! Lu Ziyi said with a tense expression, “Mom, if you have time, spend more time with Father. He misses you very much!”
“But my son misses me more!”

“Finally telling the truth, huh?” Leng Yanfei chuckled slyly. “What about planting apple trees for Mom and writing letters to Mom, you were just tricking Xiaoxiao! The tree was planted, but who it was planted for is another story. But the letters? I didn’t see a single word! Hmph, if you dare not listen to Mom in the future, I’ll report you to Xiaoxiao!”
“Alright, the letters are gone, sold with old books. I have no evidence,” Lu Ziyi said unhurriedly. “But if Mom doesn’t want a daughter-in-law, then report me to Xiaoxiao.”
“Oh, oh, oh,” Leng Yanfei laughed heartily. “You finally admit I have a daughter-in-law? Tell Mom, what stage have you and Xiaoxiao developed to? So Mom can put my son’s wedding on the agenda.”
Lu Ziyi paused, and finally left a sentence: “You can just be ready at any time.”
“Hahaha!” Leng Yanfei, who was teasing her son, laughed happily.
After breakfast, Lu Ziyi and the others prepared their backpacks to head into the mountains.
Leng Yanfei brought out water, dry rations, snacks, fruit, and other items.
