Chapter 156: Lu Ziyi’s Rejection
Ye Chuxiao stuck out her tongue. Maoshen Group was the company where her Great Uncle Ye Baiyu served as President. They had made Senior Student Ziyi work so hard.
Because the project was complex, Zhao Congrui and Lin Houchun’s abilities were still limited. Lu Ziyi was very busy, and his two assistants couldn’t help much. Lu Ziyi mostly had to work alone.
Ye Chuxiao didn’t disturb Lu Ziyi’s work. She went to the Print Room to take care of her own matters.
Around ten o’clock, Lu Ziyi received a telephone call. The woman on the other end of the line spoke respectfully: “Hello, Mr. Lu. I am Gu Hui, Secretary to Chairman Tang of Tang Group. I came to your Design Studio to find you yesterday morning.”
“Hello, Secretary Gu,” Lu Ziyi replied politely.
Secretary Gu pleaded, “Mr. Lu, could you please reconsider the project I presented to you yesterday morning? Tang Group sincerely invites you to visit and provide guidance!”
Lu Ziyi said apologetically, “I’m sorry, Secretary Gu. I already told you yesterday morning that I’m very busy lately and really can’t take on any more work.”
Secretary Gu didn’t give up: “Mr. Lu, our Chairman Tang said he would like to invite you to be a consultant. If you are too busy, we will make all the preparations, and you only need to review it in the end. You can name your own price, and Tang Group will agree.”
“It’s not about the price,” Lu Ziyi said apologetically, “I’m really too busy.”
“Mr. Lu, please consider it again. Tang Group is truly sincere. Whatever conditions you set, we will fulfill them for you.” Secretary Gu’s voice was on the verge of tears, as if she were about to burst into sobs.
But Lu Ziyi was really too busy. He couldn’t possibly take on another major project, not even as a consultant.

As expected, the young lady was hunched over her Desk inside, writing and drawing.
Lu Ziyi walked over and stood behind Ye Chuxiao, watching what she was busy with.

Senior Student Ziyi’s voice suddenly appeared, startling Ye Chuxiao, who was completely focused.

“It’s not an internship,” Ye Chuxiao explained. “Tang Group is holding a competition for the design of its corporate image icon. Our Homeroom Teacher is using this opportunity to have the entire class participate as an assignment. I passed the Preliminary Round and have entered the Semi-finals. Tang Group will hold several lectures to explain the company’s overview to the contestants who have entered the Semi-finals, and then they will design the company’s image icon.”

Well, Lu Ziyi naturally knew. Yesterday, Gu Hui, the Chairman’s Secretary of Tang Group, had come to his Design Studio to find him.
In fact, the design of this image icon was just one project among the major projects Tang Group was undertaking this time. The relocation of the Group’s company was the main focus.
Tang Group had approached Lu Ziyi to invite him to be a consultant for the completion of their new Office Building. However, Lu Ziyi had already accepted the design work for Handa Company, and taking on the consultant work for Tang Group would be too much of a burden.
