“Oh dear, you lost again, treat me to candy!” The little girl’s soft, sweet voice was so charming it could melt anyone’s heart. The little boy beside her pouted, looking at the Xs and Os on the paper with dissatisfaction.
“Han Xingzi, you glutton.” Han Xingjun looked at the little girl with displeasure. He was only born a minute later than her, so why was he the younger brother and she the older sister?
“Hey, Han Xingjun, even if you were born just one minute after me, I’m still your sister, you have to call me sister.” Han Xingzi’s face darkened. She was already young, and a hint of anger appeared on her childish face, making her look very cute.
Hearing Han Xingzi’s words, Han Xingjun immediately deflated. He secretly glanced at Han Xingzi through his fingers, a smile tugging at his lips.
“Alright, sister~” The smile vanished in an instant. Han Xingjun put on an innocent smile and called out obediently.
Han Xingzi’s expression immediately brightened upon hearing Han Xingjun’s words. Han Xingjun sighed. As expected, they were still children. At this moment, he forgot that he himself was born a minute later than her; he was also a child.
“Babies, time to eat.” A woman’s clear and pleasant voice echoed from the large villa. Yin Lingyan, still possessing her charm, walked out from inside.
“Mommy!” Hearing Yin Lingyan’s voice, the two little darlings immediately jumped up and snuggled into Yin Lingyan’s embrace.
Bearing the pressure of the two little darlings running towards her, Yin Lingyan smiled and stroked their heads.
Five years had passed in the blink of an eye. She had witnessed the growth of the two little darlings from newborns to their current stage. She had also transformed from a mother who knew nothing to a mother who was fully prepared. From initially changing diapers and tidying up the children’s belongings, she was now skilled and efficient.
“Mommy, why didn’t the nanny sister come today?” Han Xingjun looked at Yin Lingyan, his gaze unfocused as he looked at the empty space inside the house.
Yin Lingyan smiled, “Nanny sister took leave today due to an issue; she’ll be back next week on this day.” They had hired a nanny. That nanny was just a teenage girl. The girl’s working hours were every Saturday, and it seemed she was still studying, so Yin Lingyan hired her. When she came, she would help with the housework that Yin Lingyan hadn’t finished. Originally, Han Wuyu insisted on hiring a full-time nanny, but she refused.
Having herself at home was enough. The presence of others would diminish the sense of home. She knew Han Wuyu was afraid she would be tired, but she felt she wasn’t tired at all.
Nanny sister was Han Xingjun’s nickname for her. The two little ones were very fond of this nanny sister, so when she came, after finishing her tasks, she would play with the two little ones. She would leave at six in the evening.
Han Wuyu had matters at his company, so after Yin Lingyan accompanied the little darlings for their meal, she packed some food and took the two children with her.
It was strange, really. The two children were very smart. Despite being so young, they knew how to appreciate beauty. They chose their own clothes with discerning taste and would even coordinate their outfits. She felt this must be inherited from her, and she even boasted about it to Han Wuyu.
Most of the company’s employees had been replaced by new ones. The old employees had either been promoted or resigned. However, under Han Wuyu’s management, the company had not encountered any crises.
Han Wuyu was in a meeting. Thinking of the two little darlings at home, he actually smiled while giving his report. Those below him were all bewildered. They knew the president’s temper; he would often scold people during meetings without any mercy.
