His light green eyes gazed deeply at Su Ran, but the emotion in them now held something more than just the pure admiration from when he had praised the scenery.

At this moment, the table held the food Su Ran had just brought over, plus two water cups, her previous stainless steel mug, and the water bottle.
Then, she went to the back kitchen and brought out a slightly larger stone plate.
She placed the stone plate on top of the blazing stove, then used chopsticks to arrange the already sliced sausage pieces one by one onto the plate.

Su Ran took off her shoes and climbed onto the heated brick bed, took two animal hide blankets from the closet, then sat at the stove’s smoke channel—that is, the position above the original stove hole.
