Chapter 134: The Evaluation Team Arrives
As soon as she arrived at Andrei’s office, Athena said unhappily, “General Manager, you’ve really misunderstood the Chairman. He truly just wanted to save me. Didn’t you say yourself that one should be tolerant of their savior, even if they’ve done something wrong?”
Andrei’s face was tense. Athena didn’t know his pain. “Athena, I’m doing this for your own good. From now on, please keep your distance from the Chairman. It’s better for both of you!”
Athena felt completely bewildered. Why did Andrei insist that she keep her distance from the Chairman? “I don’t understand. It’s fine for others to be close to the Chairman, but it’s a problem for me? That’s absurd!”
Andrei was clearly annoyed. He stood up, walked to Athena’s side, and grabbed her shoulders forcefully. “Athena, you have to believe me. I have my reasons for doing this. This time, the attacker wanted to assassinate you; the next moment it could be the Chairman. Do you understand the complexity of this? You could be in danger at any moment, including myself! If we lose our lives, we won’t even know who the killer is. Do you think I would tell you not to approach the Chairman for no reason?”
After hearing Andrei’s words, Athena finally breathed a sigh of relief. Andrei indeed knew someone was trying to harm them. “But I, I…”
Andrei released his grip. “There are no ‘buts.’ Be vigilant about everything here! If there’s nothing else, go and do your rounds!”
Athena, not having gotten the result she wanted, had no choice but to leave!
As soon as Athena left, Andrei made a telephone call. “What’s the progress on the investigation?”
The person on the other end said a lot. Andrei’s eyebrows furrowed as he heard the words. He never expected that she would be the one orchestrating all of this. What would she do next? Who would be the next goal?
As Athena walked into the lobby, the Guest Room Manager hurried over, saying anxiously, “Chief Assistant, the customers from the Asia-Pacific Evaluation Team will be arriving soon. Due to the recent incident, we don’t have enough staff. This Asia-Pacific evaluation is very important for our hotel; it’s a stepping stone to becoming a world-class hotel. Chief Assistant, do you have any ideas for support?”
Athena frowned. This matter was indeed important. Athena said calmly, “Go find the Chairman and ask him to approve sending all the interns from this session to the Front Desk and Guest Rooms. They will be led by formal staff to serve the important customers!”
The Customer Service Manager immediately patted his forehead and said, “How did I not think of that?”
Athena said, “Hurry up and go!”
A crowd of people swarmed the hotel’s Front Desk. They were all attractive in their own way. Among them, a pair of cute twin men, following a man wearing sunglasses and colorful clothes, walked up to the front desk Miss. He took off his sunglasses, narcissistically winked at the beautiful front desk attendant, and said, “Hi, beautiful, it’s really hot today!”
He then looked around with disdain. The front desk attendant smiled awkwardly and said, “Guest, thank you for your feedback. I will have the logistics department address it! Thank you very much!”
The man’s name was Allen. He was the Leader of the Asia-Pacific Hotel Evaluation Team, recognized in newspapers and magazines as a good man, an excellent father, and a notoriously picky individual! However, his influence in the industry was immense; his word could change the destiny of a hotel!
The evaluation for this quarter officially began, with Holy Court Garden, a renowned hotel in the Asia-Pacific region, being the first stop.
Allen smiled in a formal manner. “Give me the best themed Presidential Suite. And note, I don’t want too many neighbors!”
The meaning behind this statement was profound. The beautiful front desk attendant understood perfectly. She smiled awkwardly. “Guest, please rest assured, we will arrange everything for you!”
Allen gave a charming smile. “Beautiful, you are truly too kind. This place is filled with love everywhere!”
The front desk attendant could barely hold on. This Evaluation Team Leader was truly disgusting!
