Chapter 196: The Chairman’s Mischief
Athena suddenly became dejected. She hugged Ji Xiangyu tightly, tears streaming down uncontrollably, each drop landing on Ji Xiangyu’s large hospital gown.
People who have faced life and death have a much stronger fear of going to the hospital than ordinary people.
Ji Xiangyu affectionately patted Athena’s back and said, “Stop crying. Aren’t I alright? If you keep crying, I’ll kiss you!”
How could the tears stop just because of Ji Xiangyu’s words?
Everyone has experienced a few times of crying so sadly that they can’t stop, to the point where it feels like they can barely breathe, sobbing continuously!
Athena was currently in such a state, crying as if she were about to fall asleep!
Ji Xiangyu was completely confused by Athena. How was he supposed to comfort someone who had never cried in front of him before? He was caught completely off guard and felt an inexplicable impatience, but looking at Athena’s tear-streaked face, his heart softened, and he said, “Don’t cry anymore, be good, okay~~~”
It was the first time Ji Xiangyu had patiently comforted a girl, but the result was the opposite!
Athena buried herself in Ji Xiangyu’s chest, sobbing incoherently, “No~~~ No, you, you mustn’t hurt yourself in the future!”

Athena pouted and said in a hoarse voice, “Then don’t make me worry, okay?”
Ji Xiangyu didn’t answer. Instead, he gently pinched Athena’s chin and softly kissed her soft lips. Athena’s eyes widened, and she saw the hint of a smile in Ji Xiangyu’s eyes. She smiled too!
Athena lay in Ji Xiangyu’s arms, embraced by him. In the quiet hospital room, they kissed silently.
Throughout the entire process, Athena felt dazed, wanting to cry, yet feeling incredibly happy.
Although it wasn’t their first kiss, it was more wonderful than any other!
Ji Xiangyu felt himself on the verge of falling into her gentle submission. He deepened the kiss with all his might, craving the sensation. His hand traced Athena’s earlobe, then her cheek, down to her neck, and finally to her chest, where he involuntarily began to caress her.
Athena’s mind was hazy. This familiar yet strange feeling. They hadn’t been this intimate since their time in Malaysia. Was it going to happen today?
Her heart pounded wildly, all her attention focused on where Ji Xiangyu’s hands were.
Their breaths quickened. Athena felt a little uncomfortable and wanted to pull away, but Ji Xiangyu clung to her.
Seeing Athena’s flushed face, he chuckled and gently asked in her ear, “Do you want a boy or a girl?”
Athena’s face immediately turned as red as it could possibly be, burning hot. They were in a hospital, and he was asking about boys and girls. Ji Xiangyu was definitely doing it on purpose!
Seeing Athena’s face turn even redder, Ji Xiangyu was thoroughly amused. “Then let’s have both. I like boys and girls anyway!”
Athena weakly hit Ji Xiangyu’s chest with her hand and said, “I’ve never seen such a wicked man!”
Ji Xiangyu kissed Athena’s earlobe and said in an even more gentle and seductive tone, “You haven’t seen how wicked I can be yet!”
With that, he immediately flipped over and pinned Athena beneath him!
Athena nervously asked, “What do you want to do?”
