“Of course I believe you!” The man with glasses chuckled, rubbing his hands and saying, “But you’d have to have a chance to call the police, wouldn’t you?”
The bald man stared at her lecherously, “Guess what? If you take out your phone, will we snatch it away?”
Shen Yinuo’s body trembled slightly from fear. She thought to herself how unlucky she was, wishing she had listened to her roommate and not come out tonight.
She pursed her lips and took a deep breath.
“I don’t think I need to call the police!” Shen Yinuo pointed behind the two men and shouted, “There are police right there!”
The man with glasses and the bald man were startled and quickly turned their heads to look.
Seizing the moment the two turned around, Shen Yinuo turned and began to run wildly.
“Damn it! You tricked us!” The man with glasses cursed when he realized they had been fooled.
The bald man immediately chased after Shen Yinuo.
As Shen Yinuo ran, she tried to take her phone out of her waist bag, but the more anxious she became, the less she could get it out.
Just as she was finally about to get her phone out, she suddenly felt a tightness in her scalp, followed by a sharp pain.
The bald man grabbed Shen Yinuo’s ponytail and tugged hard, saying angrily, “How dare you lie to us!”
“Let go of me!” Shen Yinuo screamed in terror, “Help!”
The man with glasses ran over, took a small bottle from his pants pocket, and sprayed it at Shen Yinuo several times.
Shen Yinuo’s eyes widened, and she quickly held her breath.
But the colorless and odorless knockout drug still made her feel weak in her limbs, her consciousness fading.
In just a few minutes, Shen Yinuo lost consciousness and was held in the bald man’s arms.
“Did you record everything?” Si Heng asked in a deep voice.
Meng Xiaokai replied, “It’s all recorded.”
Si Heng narrowed his dark eyes and uttered two words coldly, “Action!”
When the bald man and the man with glasses decided to do this the previous night, they had already scouted the location and found a spot without surveillance cameras.
At this moment, the two men, carrying the unconscious Shen Yinuo, one on each side, with her feet dragging powerlessly on the ground, walked.
Little Gege and Keke circled above them the whole way.
Meanwhile, Si Heng’s arranged personnel, hidden in the darkness of the night, quietly approached the target.
The bald man and the man with glasses carried Shen Yinuo onto an arch bridge spanning the river, arguing about who would have their pleasure first as they walked into the dark grove of trees.
The man with glasses snorted, “I came up with this plan, and I bought the knockout drug, so I definitely go first!”
With him saying that, the bald man had no reason to argue further and reluctantly said, “Alright, alright, you go first then.”
They reached the spot they had chosen the previous night and placed Shen Yinuo on the grassland.
The man with glasses shone his flashlight at Shen Yinuo’s figure, his eyes leering, “She’s perfect!”
After speaking, he impatiently pounced on her.
A strong beam of light suddenly shone over, and the man with glasses asked suspiciously, “Why is it so bright all of a sudden?”
The bald man turned his head and saw several figures standing not far away. His heart sank, “Someone…”
“Why would there be someone this late?” The man with glasses frowned. “Go and trick them away.”
The bald man had no choice but to speak, “Hey guys, my buddy is trying to pick up a girl, could you find another spot?”
“Police.” Si Heng showed his identification card, his gaze sharply scrutinizing the other two.
The bald man’s eyes widened suddenly.
The man with glasses was also startled and, pinning Shen Yinuo down, dared not move.
Jiang Yuan saw this scene, her face stern as she stepped forward, yanked the man with glasses up, and said coldly, “Disgusting!”
Chen Ziqi was shocked, not expecting her strength to be so great that she could easily lift an adult man.
Si Heng’s voice was stern, “You two deliberately drugged someone with the intent to assault them. You will come with us to the police station.”
“We didn’t!” The man with glasses immediately scrambled up from the ground and retorted, “Comrade, you’ve got us wrong!”
The bald man nodded vigorously in agreement, “That’s right, that’s right, we didn’t do anything.”
“Shut up!” Meng Xiaokai scolded, “We’ll talk about it at the police station.”
The man with glasses and the bald man tried to escape, but were quickly subdued by several uniformed police officers standing nearby and handcuffed.
Si Heng led the team back to the police station, while Jiang Yuan, Meng Xiaokai, and Chen Ziqi took Shen Yinuo to the hospital.
It was past four in the morning when Shen Yinuo woke up groggily, her consciousness still hazy.
As she gradually regained clarity, she recalled what had happened last night. Her eyes instantly reddened, and her whole body began to tremble uncontrollably.
Jiang Yuan sat with her eyes closed, resting, when she suddenly heard Shen Yinuo stir.
She opened her eyes and, seeing the girl’s pained expression, quickly got up and informed her of everything that had happened after she lost consciousness.
Learning that she had been rescued in time and had not suffered any substantial harm, Shen Yinuo was incredibly excited. She got out of bed and, with a thud, knelt before Jiang Yuan, choked out, “Thank you! Thank you!”
If she had unfortunately been assaulted by those two scumbags, she truly wouldn’t have had the courage to live on…
“It’s okay now. Try not to run too late in the future,” Jiang Yuan helped her up and said softly, “Although deciding what time to go out is our right as citizens, but…”
Shen Yinuo nodded vigorously, “I know! I won’t do it again!”
The trauma from this incident was too great for her; she wouldn’t dare to go out for night runs anymore.
“Since you’re awake, then stay here and rest well,” Jiang Yuan smiled, “Someone will come to pick you up to the police station to give your statement tomorrow. I should be going.”
Initially, Chen Ziqi and Meng Xiaokai had both told Jiang Yuan to go home first, but she was worried that Shen Yinuo would be scared if she saw men when she woke up, so she insisted on staying until the person woke up.

The two looked at Jiang Yuan in unison.
She raised an eyebrow, “If you two have no objections, then I have no objections either.”
The three walked to the hospital entrance and were surprised to find Si Heng standing by the car.

Si Heng said lightly, “I just finished up, and I’m giving Jiang Yuan a ride home on my way.”
Meng Xiaokai blurted out, “We would have taken her home even if you weren’t coming.”
Chen Ziqi stared at Si Heng, grinning mischievously.
