As long as a shred of Vitality remained in that broken flesh, that pitiful soul would be firmly trapped inside, continuously enduring endless Pain.
But now, Death has become “easy”…
They could finally achieve liberation.
No living being knew what the world after Death looked like.
But humans endowed with true Wisdom and favored by the Gods had long ago learned from the Gods’ mouths: the final destination of souls is the Underworld.
The dissipation of physical Matter is not the true endpoint.
After Death, souls can still go to the Underworld and continue “living” in another form.
However, the Death of Mortal Spirits is a one-way road.
The road to the Underworld has no return.
In the Underworld, the Goddess of Retribution will Judge the final Outcome based on a living being’s lifetime of good and evil, right and wrong, in accordance with the God King’s Sacred Order.
Any living being that abides by the Supreme God King’s Sacred Justice Order can obtain Tranquility in the Underworld and live normally there.
While those living beings that violate the God King’s Sacred Order will be thrown into the Cold Underworld River, cleansing their Sins amid endless submersion and icy chill.
Different Sins will be sentenced to different durations of Punishment.
Even the least intelligent living beings know the pain of Drowning and choking, and the torment of cold and freezing.
And the Gods have solemnly stated: ordinary water in the Mortal World will freeze if too cold.
But the water of the Underworld River is countless times colder than ordinary water and never freezes.
The deeper into the Underworld River, the colder it gets; the deeper it flows, the more it pierces the soul.
It can even make powerful Gods feel the genuine, Divinity-piercing icy torment.
And do not delusionally think of floating to the surface to breathe even a single breath of air, because the Underworld River does not float a feather.
Everything that falls in will only continuously sink downward.
Even living beings that can breathe underwater are equally useless.
Because the Underworld River is transformed from Ocean Pure Water, containing no breath for respiration.
The Underworld River treats all fallen living beings equally, ensuring they all endure the most extreme, ever-intensifying torment of drowning and choking.
As well as the soul-piercing Cold pain, and the merciless tearing and crashing of surging undercurrents.
This Punishment seems simple but is actually the most cruel imaginable.
In later generations, Mortals imitated one ten-thousandth of its form, creating a torture for interrogation and Punishment whose effect is unfailingly effective.
Its name is—Water Torture.
While the Punishment of the Underworld River is equivalent to the S-PRO-PLUS-MAX deluxe supreme version of this Water Torture.
Being thrown into the Underworld River is a severe Punishment even for Gods; one can imagine how Terrifying it would be for Fragile Mortals’ souls immersed within.
Although no human has yet tried the torment described by the Gods.
But there is absolutely no one who wants to try it.
Once fallen in, do not think of coming out before the Sins are washed clean.
Currently, the simple and pure humans do not yet have individuals who need to enter the Underworld River to cleanse their Sins.

Of course, this Judgment only applies to living beings with higher Wisdom.
Those without higher Wisdom do not need Judgment; after Death, they can just live normally in the Underworld.
In fact, living beings without higher Wisdom often have rather shallow Spirituality.
Even though Zeus has granted them souls, those souls remain weak and thin.
Under normal circumstances, in the Underworld, after not too long— at most a few centuries—the souls naturally Dispersal, leaving only the purest Spiritual Light.
As for life in the Underworld, it is far less comfortable than in the Mortal World.
Because the Underworld is truly too desolate and too vast.
The air is Heavy, no sunlight, no Warmth.

Because souls entering the Underworld, after Judgment, are randomly scattered to various places in the Underworld.

This is also to embody a complete farewell to the Past and to one’s previous life.
Entering the Underworld also counts as a new Beginning.
Birth is a new Beginning; Death is also a new Beginning in another World.
Death means losing everything one has.
Everything, everything, will be bid a complete farewell.
People with higher Wisdom do not want to lose what they cherish.
Although life has many things one does not want, those cherished ones are worth gripping tightly.
Life is precisely for striving for those things worth cherishing.
But the Gods also told them a piece of good news.
That is, living beings who strive for the God King’s Sacred Justice Order and make outstanding contributions to the Universe may, after their souls are Judged following Death, ascend to the God King’s Supreme Sacred Kingdom—Paradise.
In Paradise, they will have brand new, more perfect, powerful, and healthy bodies.
There, free from want of food and clothing, no hunger or cold, it is the most Tranquil and beautiful realm.
There are the most beautiful landscapes, and the “Aetherial Atmosphere” that only Gods can breathe.
In Paradise’s superior environment, there is no worry of souls Dispersing due to the passage of Time.
Moreover, even without cultivation, they can gradually grow stronger over Time, whether body, Spirituality, or Soul.
Those who reach Paradise are, in principle, no longer Mortal Spirits and can be called Celestials.
As long as they put in enough Effort, becoming a God is not impossible.
If luck is even better, having an unforgettable encounter with some beautiful Nymph is not unimaginable.
