Chapter 113: Raven City

There stood a two-story Mansion built of Wood, Bricks, and Stone.
The first thing that met his eyes was a courtyard with a wide view. Pushing open the iron gate and entering the courtyard, a beautifully polished red brick path extended all the way to the House.
A lush green Berry Tree was planted in the yard, and beneath it was a man-made Lake. The lakeside was paved with pebbles collected from the Riverside.
At first glance, Lei Wen thought that he could raise some of his favorite, cute Water Type Pokémon in this man-made Lake in the future.
Continuing forward along the red brick path and pushing open the door, he entered a large living room.
The living room floor was covered with solid wood flooring. A fireplace built of red bricks faced the main door, and in front of the fireplace was a Sofa made of Wool and Wood. In the center of the Sofa was a round wooden table, on which sat a vase containing a Gracidea flower, Shaymin’s favorite.
To the east of the living room was the Dining Room for meals. His subordinates had even custom-made a special seat for Dragonair, Poffin, Larvesta, and Servine based on their heights and sizes, to make it convenient for them to eat at the table.
Using the stairs to reach the second floor, the layout here was somewhat more complex. The bedroom for sleeping and the Study Room for handling official business were both located here.
The bedroom was large, nearly a hundred square meters. The wooden floor was covered with a intricately patterned Carpet bearing royal insignia. A large bed, about three meters wide, was placed in the center of the room, with a bed canopy on the side, giving it an elegant and luxurious appearance.
The foot of the bed faced the fireplace, so even in the cold winter, one would not have to worry about the chill while sleeping here.
Beside the bed was a large window. As glass-making Technology was not yet mature, the window used horizontal wooden blinds, and heavy, luxurious cloth curtains hung by the window.
These curtains could help block sunlight and, in the cold winter, could also serve to insulate against the cold wind and keep the room warm.
