Chapter 2: Intersection
“Yin Lingyan—” a Lion’s Roar suddenly shattered her fantasy. She saw a woman dressed all in black looking at her angrily.
Heh heh, this is her good best friend, named Mu Qingran. Her personality is just like her name, as passionate as summer.
“Qingran.”
“You little rascal, hurry up, we’re going to be late.”
This is how she is; she scolds you harshly but is actually very good to you.
The two were running like the wind when suddenly someone bumped into them, “Don’t you have eyes?”
However, the person left without even looking, leaving Yin Lingyan alone to complain.
But this bump… caused trouble. It was also from this moment that the story began…
*
Yin Lingyan and Mu Qingran just made it into the classroom as the bell rang. We, in our second year of high school, young as we were, were experiencing the bittersweet flavors of life, savoring unique tastes. We ignited the fire of youth, and in our beliefs, nothing could stop us. We held our dreams, soaring and galloping freely in our own world. We believed that youthful dreams were in our own hands, waiting for us to create them!
“Ring ring…” The dismissal bell rang at this moment.
“Lingyan, let’s go for a drink. I had a heartbreak…” Mu Qingran tugged at Yin Lingyan, who was diligently doing her homework beside her.
“Pfft… how many times have you had a heartbreak this month? The first monthly exam is almost here, you should focus on reviewing.” Yin Lingyan knew her best friend always used heartbreak as an excuse to drag her out for drinks, but there was someone she harbored in her heart, a wound she never wanted to touch.
In the end… she couldn’t stand her complaining and they went to the bar together.
Mu Qingran drove her beloved car at full speed. They arrived at Qingran Bar. This bar was a birthday gift from her brother to Qingran, so it often became their place for heart-to-heart talks.
Mu Qingran came from a very good family; her family was an enterprise company second only to Ye Beiyu’s enterprise. However, Mu Qingran willingly befriended her, while those with good family backgrounds almost all looked down on her.
Don’t be fooled by Yin Lingyan’s gentle goddess-like appearance; she’s actually a wild cat that’s hard to tame. She just hides her sharp claws, only revealing her true nature when necessary.
“Hahaha…” Yin Lingyan pounded the sofa, laughing until tears streamed down her face. When she let loose, she looked like a madwoman.
“I know you’re beautiful when you laugh, stop now,” Mu Qingran complained, but couldn’t resist teasing her. It was the truth, though; Yin Lingyan’s appearance was truly a gift from God. She had a goddess height of 165 cm, a goddess figure of exactly 50 kg, large eyes, and a face that was incredibly beautiful without any makeup.
Yin Lingyan restrained her laughter but still couldn’t resist saying a few words, “Even if you want a younger sibling, you shouldn’t poke holes in their condoms.”
This is an important point: Mu Qingran has a brother two years older than her, but she wants a younger brother or sister. So, by chance, she started thinking about how to get her beautiful and elegant mother pregnant.
Speaking of Qingran’s mother, Yin Lingyan also felt a surge of happiness. Qingran’s mother liked her very much, treating her like her own daughter. She was the same age as Mu Qingran, with only a one-day difference, so the two had a very close affection.
“Who told them they weren’t planning to have more children…” Mu Qingran couldn’t help but mumble.
Yin Lingyan still comforted her, “This matter should be left to fate. You should also consider your parents, right? Don’t overthink it. Come, let’s drink.”
To smoothly change the subject, she could only resort to alcohol. Her tolerance wasn’t very good, so every time she drank with Mu Qingran, she was the one who carried her home.
