Chapter 40: Make Her Give Up
Han Wuyu walked out and looked at the plastic bag on her feet. He actually made a move that even he himself might not believe. He slowly squatted down with his left foot, using his right foot to prevent touching the wound.
He lifted one of her feet, gently took off the plastic bag, took off his own slippers and put them on her. After both were on, Han Wuyu limped towards the door and casually put on a pair of slippers.
Yin Lingyan was still immersed in the warmth on her feet, staring blankly at Han Wuyu. Why didn’t he take those slippers for her, but instead took his own? She glanced at the slippers on her feet; after she put them on, there was a long section sticking out behind.

The pair she was wearing were limited edition, brought back from abroad by Han Wuyu. He, who always had germophobia, actually gave them to her to wear, and even put on his own shoes?

However, the person concerned was not surprised by his own actions at all. He just kept tidying himself up. Yin Lingyan glanced at the brand new face towel, washbasin, and toiletries, and looked at Han Wuyu in surprise. So early… how could these things be so complete?
“Bring these to my home later.” Han Wuyu saw that she had used these toiletries and said this before leaving the washroom.
When Yin Lingyan came out of the washroom, the takeout they had ordered had already arrived at the door. Han Wuyu beckoned to Yin Lingyan, and Yin Lingyan didn’t stand on ceremony. She sat down and started eating, as she was very hungry.
After the three of them had breakfast, they got into Ye Qianyu’s sports car to pick up his own sports car from the amusement park. Yin Lingyan glanced at his feet and, seeing that he seemed about to drive, quickly stopped him, “I’ll do it.”
Han Wuyu looked at her in astonishment, “You can?”
Yin Lingyan nodded. Han Wuyu, with some doubt, threw the key to her and then got into the car.
Ye Qianyu, on the other hand, opened his mouth and eyes wide. He even pinched his handsome face. He guessed… that only she could drive Han Wuyu’s car.
He remembered that Han Wuyu’s sister, Zhang Xingqing, had wanted to drive his car before, but he had rejected her outright. Moreover, he did not allow anyone to sit in his passenger seat. But after Yin Lingyan’s appearance, these prohibitions had almost all become past tense.
After getting into the car, Yin Lingyan skillfully operated the steering wheel. She glanced at Han Wuyu and, after thinking for a moment, asked the doubt in her heart, “Why is there a scent of jasmine in the car?”
This scent was fresh and pleasant, but it didn’t seem like something a man would like. Han Wuyu was asked by her and couldn’t speak for a long time, and the car fell silent because of this.
Yin Lingyan thought he was unwilling to say, it must be because of a girl. She sensibly said, “Love should be said out loud.”
After saying this, Yin Lingyan quietly glanced at Han Wuyu. In her heart, she believed that Han Wuyu had fallen for someone, and that person liked the scent of jasmine. This was the same as her; jasmine was her favorite scent, so her home also faintly smelled of jasmine.
