Chapter 251: Epilogue
Jiang Ning instantly woke up completely.
She pushed Xie Jingyan with her hand.

“Hungry? I heated lunch for you.”

Xie Jingyan went to heat the meal.
Eating the delicious food, Jiang Ning’s mood finally improved a lot.

He answered and turned on speakerphone so Jiang Ning could hear too.
“Hello? Any progress investigating Huo Yu?” Xie Jingyan asked first.
There was silence for a few seconds before the heavy voice came: “Huo Yu is hiding deep; nothing found yet, but… Yan Ge, Huo Chengxuan is dead.”
Jiang Ning jerked her head up and met Xie Jingyan’s eyes.
Both saw shock in each other’s eyes.
Jiang Ning hurriedly spoke: “What did you say? Huo Chengxuan is dead? When did it happen!”
He Shang didn’t hide it: “Last night, at the hotel. Stabbed dozens of times. Surveillance captured Sui Youran appearing at that hotel. With Huo Yu’s protective temper, no matter if she’s the culprit or not, the cooperation between the two families has fallen through. Sui Youran disappeared after Huo Chengxuan’s incident; the police are looking for her now…”
