Chapter 230: The Happiest Touch
Chapter Two Hundred and Thirty: The Most Touching Happiness (1)
On the way back, everyone was quiet and didn’t speak. Qing Tian brought Song Shishi to her home. As they entered, she handed the key to Song Shishi and said, “Shishi, from now on, this will be your home!”
Song Shishi asked with confusion, “Then what will you do?”
Qing Tian forced a smile and leaned on Ji Xiangyu, saying, “From now on, he is my home!”
Ji Xiangyu looked at Qing Tian with emotion, as if every word now was so precious!
Song Shishi looked at Qing Tian, smiling happily, and said, “Sister Qing, you are so lucky, I bless you!”
Qing Tian held Ji Xiangyu’s hand and said, “Ji Xiangyu, you will introduce a stunningly handsome man to Shishi, right!”
Ji Xiangyu smiled slightly, pinched Qing Tian’s face, and said, “Why do you always like to call me by my full name?”
Qing Tian stuck out her tongue and ran to Song Shishi’s side, saying proudly, “If you don’t like it, tough luck!”
Song Shishi happily watched the two bicker, truly feeling they were the most compatible couple in the world. Fortunately, after all the twists and turns, Sister Qing had returned to Ji Xiangyu’s side!
But, what about Xia Yang? Five years ago, Xia Yang’s love for Sister Qing was no less than Ji Xiangyu’s. Five years later, it would only increase, not decrease?!
After tidying up Song Shishi’s luggage, Qing Tian left with Ji Xiangyu!
In the car, Qing Tian suddenly asked, “What if your parents both object to me marrying you?”
Ji Xiangyu frowned and pondered this time. He turned the car and drove north.
“No. They have no right to interfere with my marriage; who I choose is my prerogative!” he said in a low voice, his tone cautious and careful. “You are my only love. Moreover, I hope for more.”
More, another magical word, carrying infinite possibilities.
“I know,” Qing Tian said softly, trying her best to hide her excitement. “I’m just afraid of causing unhappiness. After all, we still have Situ Jingyi between us, and seriously speaking, your mother and your sister too!”
Ji Xiangyu turned to look at me, a little confused, and tilted his head to the side.
After a moment, the traffic light turned green. He nodded and turned on the music.
Silence suddenly filled the car, and a bad atmosphere spread. Qing Tian regretted her loose tongue for asking such a question. Hadn’t they promised to stay together forever? Why bring up these unhappy things?
All sorts of regrets were screaming in Qing Tian’s heart!
Music filled the car. This song was quite heartwarming, telling of dancing together on a beautiful night.
Qing Tian looked out at the lush forest outside the window, the hazy twilight casting a unique glow on the fir trees. Ji Xiangyu drove onto a road beside a residential area, heading west.
“Where are we going?”
The car turned onto another road. Qing Tian looked at the signpost—Golden Villa District. She was bewildered.
“A surprise,” he said in a low voice, a mysterious smile on his face.
Within a few minutes, Ji Xiangyu suddenly turned left, and a six-foot-high wall appeared before them, with an ornate, exquisite white metal door in the center.
Ji Xiangyu pressed a button on the door handle, and an electronic keypad gradually appeared. He reached out and pressed a series of numbers on it, and the door slowly opened.
He glanced at Qing Tian, his expression changing. He looked… somewhat hesitant, even a little nervous.
“What’s wrong?” Qing Tian asked, her voice filled with unconcealed concern.
“Nothing,” he said softly, stepping on the accelerator.
The car drove along a path wide enough for two cars to drive side-by-side. On one side were dense, tall trees, and on the other were vast lawns, with a plot of land ready for cultivation nearby.
Wild grass and flowers were scattered everywhere, creating a pastoral scene—the evening breeze gently brushed the land, creating waves of green…
The sunset weaved freely among the wildflowers, everything was so tranquil.
Qing Tian suddenly imagined herself lying on this lawn, gazing up at the deep blue summer night sky. This feeling greatly improved her mood!
Turning the corner, a spacious driveway appeared before them. At the end of the driveway stood a luxurious and majestic Mediterranean-style mansion, built with pale pink sandstone, as magnificent as a palace.
Every light was shining, and every window gleamed in the twilight. A small BMW was parked in the garage that could hold four cars, but Ji Xiangyu parked his car under the grand portico.
Qing Tian looked at the house before her, a little confused, unable to guess what surprise Ji Xiangyu had mentioned!
