Chapter 239: Unleashing the Cold Attack
Sang Chu rode a Magic Beast towards the location of her former Neighbor, a Treant.
The underground Mutated Plants had disappeared, replaced by a huge Deep Pit.
Going down along the Deep Pit was a strange Passage. Xue You had mentioned before that this Passage did not lead completely outside, so he had only marked it down at the time without paying too much attention.
Sang Chu had originally planned to fill all these underground pits after the House Building Machine returned, but now it seemed this Passage was worth exploring further.
“Keep going forward.”
She directed the Magic Beast to walk towards the Corridor below the pit.
The walls of the Passage were covered in dry Branches, as if lacking water and Nutrients, sparsely clinging to the walls.
Sang Chu turned on her Optical Computer for light. The beam penetrated the dim Passage, instantly illuminating the narrow Corridor.
“Are these walls moving?”
Her voice was a little hesitant. Under the strong light, Sang Chu seemed to see the walls breathing and undulating, but upon closer inspection, it seemed like an illusion.
“Keep going forward.”
Sang Chu patted the Magic Beast’s head to make it advance.
After walking for about ten minutes, the path ahead ended, but the walls were now covered in green plants, like Giant Climbing Tigers, densely embedded in the walls, as if they could no longer be hidden, extending outwards from the walls.

The Giant Climbing Tigers in the wall moved like tentacles, it was disgusting.
“Ice Cone, break!”
With a soft shout, Sang Chu directly activated her Supernatural Ability. Dozens of thick Ice Cones pierced directly into the wall, smashing open a Crevice.
Cold wind gushed out from the Crevice, carrying a damp and musty smell.
Sang Chu covered her nose, frowning: “Go in.”
The Magic Beast’s steps were hesitant, as if it were afraid?
Sang Chu gently patted its head, saying softly, “Don’t worry, it’ll be fine.”
There were only four Hellhounds in total. She had left one with Sang Jing Wen, and the others were given to Xi Rui and the others for Patrol duty, leaving her with none. However, the Magic Beast was clearly terrified by what was in the wall.
Just as Sang Chu was hesitating whether to go in on foot, a Black Shadow shot out rapidly from within the wall, heading straight for the Magic Beast.

In contrast, the Magic Beast’s movements began to slow down.
Could this Black Shadow steal Power from the Magic Beast?
This was no ordinary Thing anymore!
The Magic Beast stumbled, almost making Sang Chu fall, but luckily she held on tight.

A soft, cooing sound of affection was heard. Sang Chu looked closely. The Magic Beast turned its head, its Eyes red, looking at her pitifully, as if saying, this thing is bullying me?

After the Black Shadow left, the Giant Climbing Tigers within the wall instantly vanished without a trace, revealing two Passages.
The Magic Beast walked forward.
The left Passage had a strong smell, and the Space seemed larger.
The right Passage, however, appeared narrow and winding.
Sang Chu hesitated for a moment and chose the left Passage to move forward.
The Passage grew narrower and narrower.
Sang Chu felt uneasy. The Magic Beast beneath her also tensed its body nervously, slowly moving forward.
As the Passage gradually narrowed, the smell in the air grew more intense.
This smell was oppressive.
There was a faint gaze from behind, as if something was secretly watching.
The Magic Beast involuntarily quickened its pace.
Its Ears stood high, and its Eyes vigilantly scanned every corner.
After walking for an unknown amount of time, they seemed to have reached the end.
The Magic Beast’s heart leaped with joy, and it quickened its pace to run forward.
“Huh?”
The Magic Beast suddenly stopped. Sang Chu, sitting on its Spine, looked down and saw something blurry, like some kind of Branches casually thrown on the ground.
Sang Chu jumped down and walked forward. The smell was getting stronger. She picked up her Long Sword and pushed aside the Branches on the ground.
Beneath the Branches, there were people!
A dense expanse. These Branches were actually eating people!
Sang Chu was startled and didn’t notice the Giant Climbing Tigers on the walls and ceiling raising their tentacles and suction cups to ‘stare’ at her.
“Roar!”
With a Roar, the Magic Beast leaped up and bit down on a suction cup that was lunging towards Sang Chu.
