Chapter 158: Subjugating Death God Karl, Evil Gods Gather
The Clone Technique does not necessarily require using hair; hair merely serves as a medium to provide one’s own gene information.
Nails, blood, skin debris, and the like can all substitute for hair.
However, compared to others, hair is still more convenient and suitable.
Then, as long as one fully records their own gene information and packages it into an information package.
Then, using Aether Editing to load it onto any object should also serve as this medium.
Meng Huaifeng casually plucked a blade of grass and loaded his own gene information package via Aether Editing.
Clone Technique.
Meng Huaifeng tossed the blade of grass, successfully transforming it into a clone.
However, this clone’s skin was a bit greenish.
It should be influenced by the information carried in the blade of grass itself.
But no big deal; this counts as a successful improvement.
“Ding dong.”
A loving family.
『Dan Heng: The train has arrived in the Styx Galaxy.』
『A Xing: Can we go beat up Death God Karl now?』
『Meng Huaifeng: Death God Karl has controlled subordinate civilizations to destroy many worlds; I suggest directly killing such an evil god.』
『Welt: Death God Karl is equivalent to the Antimatter Legion in our universe; no problem killing him.』
『Welt: We can’t beat the Destruction Star God, truly no way, but Karl should be fine.』
『March 7th: Time again for the Cosmic Knight to punish evil, eliminate violence, and bring peace to the good!』
『A Xing: What do you mean ‘should’? Little Karl, got him.』
『Meng Huaifeng: He might not be that easy to handle, otherwise Angel Kaisa wouldn’t have just suppressed him instead of eliminating him.』
『A Xing: Little Kaisa, got her.』
『March 7th: Kaisa can go a few rounds with Sister Himeko.』
『A Xing: Little Himeko, got her.』
『Himeko: ???』
『A Xing withdrew a message』
『Himeko: A Xing, what are you saying?』
『Meng Huaifeng: Little A Xing, got her.』
『…』
Activating the Realm Anchor on the train, Welt, March 7th, A Xing, and Meng Huaifeng returned to the train.
Looking out through the train window, the entire Styx Galaxy was dim and lightless, filled with deathly stillness, with an extremely sparse and scattered number of stars.
“This galaxy feels so oppressive.” Influenced by the environment, March 7th’s emotions were somewhat low.
“No wonder it’s called the Styx Galaxy; it is indeed very dark.” A Xing said.
“It’s said that Karl consumes thousands of stars each time he simulates one of the 200,000 civilizations he observes, and to obtain void essence, he annihilates tens of thousands of stars; there should be many other acts consuming stars that I’m not aware of.” Meng Huaifeng said gravely.
He didn’t pay much attention to the later parts of Superdimension Academy, only knowing bits and pieces, and it might be a parallel world with a different version; his knowledge of this big BOSS was truly limited.
“So this galaxy is so dim because many stars were consumed by him?” March 7th said in disbelief.
“Probably.” Meng Huaifeng nodded.
Karl has been entrenched in the Styx Galaxy for over ten thousand years; who knows how many civilizations he simulated or how much void essence he collected?
“This Karl really deserves to die.” March 7th couldn’t help saying.
“Death God Karl has invited his own death.” Golden light of Destruction Power also flared in A Xing’s eyes.
“Let’s go; this is just the edge of the Styx Galaxy, still some distance from Death God Karl’s Song of Souls Academy.” Dan Heng said.
The train began entering this deathly still galaxy, passing by an ice-sealed planet.
“There should have been civilization on this planet; there are buildings on it.” Welt said.
“Unknown whether it was wiped out by civilizations under Karl or if the apocalypse came after the star disappeared and the planet cooled.” Meng Huaifeng sighed.
The atmosphere on the train became somewhat heavy, silently traveling through the pitch-black vacuum, with A Xing and March 7th already gripping their weapons tightly.
The train left behind shining Silver Rails where it passed, exceptionally dazzling in the dim Styx.
In the Song of Souls Academy, Death God Karl slowly raised his head, looking toward the Stellar Train.
When the Stellar Train had just entered the Styx Galaxy, the Great Clock had already detected this uninvited guest.
“Since they’ve come, perfect time to test eliminating these variables; otherwise, the plan will be indefinitely delayed, and it’s much easier than in the Chiwu Star System.” Karl murmured.
“Sno, assemble the army.”
A hooded figure holding a skull-headed staff, hunched over, respectfully said: “Yes, my god. Who are we invading?”
“Why can’t it be protection? For ourselves.”
“Yes.”
“Huaye and Ruo Ning have upgraded to Third Generation Divine Bodies; perfect to put them to use.” Karl calculated his forces at hand and dialed Morgana’s communication.
“Liang Bing, do you want revenge?”
“Fuck, of course this queen wants to, but how? Those little bitches have an old geezer behind them who hasn’t made a move!” Morgana cursed.
“I’ve lured them to the Styx Galaxy and set up a dragnet; if you want revenge, come join.” Karl said.
“This queen is coming right… wait, Karl you dead sissy, are you tricking this queen into working for you? Lured them? Your subordinates just invaded Blue Star; those justice-obsessed idiots must have targeted you, this evil god, to take you down?” Morgana reacted instantly.
Karl neither confirmed nor denied: “That’s irrelevant; we must resolve these variables to deal with your sister as planned, otherwise no chance of success.”
“Want this queen’s help? No problem, let me use the Great Clock.” Morgana made a huge demand.
“You know that’s impossible. I’ll arrange for someone to build you a new Celestial Computer…”
“Fuck off; once we take them down, this queen gets her Wings of the Demon back—still need your new computer?”
“Then what do you want?”
“Upgrade five Third Generation God subordinates for this queen; if not for their numbers, how could this queen lose.” Morgana said stubbornly.
“Didn’t you say your demon gene database was completely deleted? Do you still have suitable subordinates?”
“Fuck@#@#¥&%#*¥%#, don’t fucking bring up what this queen wants to forget!” Morgana instantly broke down, cursing wildly before regaining composure.
“This queen still has some subordinates on other planets. Just say yes or no? Don’t fucking haggle!”
“…Fine.” Karl was silent for a moment; this was the last time—he had decided to delete emotions.
Galaxy-level space teleportation activated, souls of 100,000 intelligent races burned up completely.
“Fuck, you dogshit, why are you here?” Morgana, teleported to Song of Souls Academy, cursed at the sight of Huaye.
…
Half a day later.
The Stellar Train hovered above Song of Souls Academy.
Behind Karl were Sno and Nusa, two Third Generation Gods.
“Distinguished guests from the unknown universe visit; truly a pleasant surprise.” Karl’s tone was as gentle as ever.
The train doors opened, and five people stepped out.
“Oh, how surprised?” A Xing asked.
Karl’s brows furrowed slightly under his hood; there was no info on that young man in green in the data.
“To me, aside from the Void, the known universe holds no secrets, yet your arrival reveals the existence of an unknown universe such an unexpected thing.”
“I very much hope to cooperate with you to open a passage to the unknown universe and gain more possibilities; would you all be willing?”
“No matter how you look at it, we have no possibility of cooperating with you.” Welt said with a grim face.
“That’s right; we’re here to collect you.” March 7th pointed her Lapis Sword at Karl.
Along the way, she seemed to see countless wronged souls of this galaxy weeping.
“That’s truly a pity.” Karl said regretfully.
After probing this group’s actions, he knew coexistence was basically impossible; now fully confirmed.
“Death God Karl, are you ready to embrace death?” Meng Huaifeng held the Phantom Spear, its body flickering in and out.
“Insolent! Daring to disrespect my god—you’re only fit to smell my god Karl’s fart.” Sno’s words were full of flavor.
March 7th’s little face scrunched up, disgustedly looking at this ugly guy.
“Does your god fart often?” A Xing asked curiously.
“You…” Sno glanced at Karl, trembling—whether from anger or fear.
“Nothing more to say to them; prepare to fight.” Dan Heng said straightforwardly.
“If you’d come 10,000 years earlier, perhaps I wouldn’t have delved so deep into Void research.” Karl sighed, activating the Great Clock.
Hidden armies and several evil gods instantly teleported over, blocking in front of him.
To guard against Meng Huaifeng’s Aether Editing, the armies were all equipped with cold weapons, and equipment networks taken over by the Great Clock.
“This should be about 100,000, right? Leave them to me; I want to make a havoc of the heavenly court too!” Seeing the sky-covering Taotie Army, A Xing’s eyes lit up.
“Yours at most counts as making a havoc in the underworld.” Meng Huaifeng quipped.
A Xing had long envied Sun Wukong’s battle against 100,000 heavenly soldiers and generals; now she could be cool too.
Wildfire’s BGM sounded from A Xing, who swung her baseball bat, grew in size, and charged first into the Taotie Army.
Golden lightning of Destruction Power leaped, each attack vaporizing at least hundreds of fully armed Taotie Warriors.
Sno and Nusa charged into the battlefield, aiding Taotie King Shi Lao.
Two Third Generation Gods and over 100,000 Taotie mecha warriors comparable to first-, second-, or even third-generation Super Warriors finally temporarily held A Xing back.
Welt tossed a Quasi Black Hole next to Karl, who countered with his own black hole without hesitation.
The two black holes, different in method and opposite in direction, annihilated each other instantly.
Gravity Torrent.
Countless black rays enveloped Karl, who ignored them as Void aura erupted under Welt’s feet.
Gravity Ray passed straight through Karl without causing any harm!
Phantom Body: a spirit body escaping into the Void, integrating void essence into the soul, thus uniting soul and Void.
Then projecting from high dimension to low; its true body in high-dimensional spacetime, the form appearing in three-dimensional space merely a high-dimensional projection capable of interfering with the universe, using dimensions for defense.
But the technology is immature, with huge flaws, requiring constant void essence consumption to maintain.
And void essence comes from star annihilation.
To maintain the Phantom Body, Karl consumes one star per day!
When the Phantom Body is damaged, repair consumption increases dramatically!
Attack methods aren’t strong, but survivability is maxed out.
Something’s off. Welt frowned.
Meng Huaifeng had told him about Phantom Body before; immunity to physical attacks was known, but even energy attacks were immune.
This wasn’t the spirit body specialization they speculated.
No matter how specialized, it should react somewhat even if mostly immune to energy attacks.
Now, zero reaction.
This Death God Karl’s Phantom Body was far more profound than they thought.
Huai Feng doesn’t know everything after all. Welt thought.
Seems more probing is needed.
…
Meng Huaifeng held a God-Slaying Weapon with strange attacks; that unfamiliar young man seemed troublesome too.
March 7th’s attacks were fierce but dealt less than a tenth the harm to divine bodies compared to the God-Slaying Weapon; overall less threatening than Meng Huaifeng.
How smart is Morgana; she proactively went for March 7th, the easiest to handle.
Demon Claws struck from left and right at March 7th.
March 7th wasn’t limited to sword technique; she first buffed herself with a blessing.
Then used Six Phases Ice to briefly freeze the Demon Claw—less than 0.1 seconds, but enough for March 7th to close in on Morgana.
Lapis Sword gleamed coldly, slashing continuously at Morgana.
Under March 7th’s increasingly skilled sword technique, Morgana was careless and got stabbed once.
Six Phases Ice spread, sword energy raging wildly at the wound, thoroughly pulverizing part of the divine body there!
Having failed to deal effective damage to divine bodies in two prior fights, March 7th strove harder and thought of a counter.
No God-Slaying Weapon, no Destruction Power? Then break with force—sword energy annihilation.
See if you can heal instantly now!
You didn’t really think March 7th was a fool, did you?
Meng Huaifeng spotted Huaye and Ruo Ning with wings on their backs.
Coincidentally, these two evil gods also looked toward Meng Huaifeng.
True Game!
Jing Yuan appeared beside Meng Huaifeng.
Unlike the Clone Technique, True Game clones have no independent consciousness.
Meng Huaifeng must personally control them or use AI hosting.
Data Body!
With just a bit of Aether Editing to compensate, Meng Huaifeng’s body turned into a Data Body, requiring only minimal Imaginary Energy to maintain.
Song of Souls!
Finally, Aether Editing: power boost, speed boost!
Meng Huaifeng went for Huaye, Jing Yuan for Ruo Ning.
Facing Huaye’s attacks, Meng Huaifeng ignored them, activating the pre-loaded God-Slaying Power program on the Phantom Spear, thrusting at Huaye’s heart.
“Madman!” Huaye cursed, hurriedly retreating to dodge.
Who fights with mutual destruction moves right off the bat?
This is too crazy!
He still had prime years ahead, countless short skirts un-conquered; couldn’t die in mutual destruction with a madman here.
Retreat as fast as you want; is it faster than my spear?
Phantom Spear rapidly extended; Huaye’s eyes filled with terror, bursting potential at the critical moment, slightly sidestepping.
Ultimately, the Phantom Spear pierced Huaye’s shoulder.
Spoiled and indulgence-seeking Huaye’s combat experience was far inferior to Morgana’s.
Spear slightly withdrawn, then thrust at Huaye’s throat.
Huaye dodged left and right, in extreme peril.
Panicked Huaye directly unleashed his ultimate move; a black hole appeared between Meng Huaifeng and Huaye.
Uncle Yang’s signature black hole was considered overused in this world.
